Hampton Inn Monticello

The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. I personally witnessed a few staff members talking amongst themselves, as soon as a customer walked up ALL of their attention went to the customer!

NO! This is by far the best hotel and best staff I have visited in over a year. It's usually, you get one or the other. This Hotel scored 10 out 10 in all categories!!

Everything is nice-new and clean. I didn't check yet but I think I was supposed to get a king size bed but got a queen - no problem.

YES! We got there and all we could smell was fresh paint. It was bad in the room but worse in the corridors. We should have been informed of this when reservations were made so we could have chosen a different hotel. The smell made me sick.

Staff

The breakfast served wasn't tasty. only meat was sausages. You should offer a second protein (meat).

The elevator wasnt working. Despite my physically disabled daughter standing right in front of him, the front desk clerk didn't bother to tell us that until we'd checked in. The hotel has not saved a first floor room for guests with mobility issues.

Clean, new look with large common areas, nice room, and good breakfast.

They allowed us to use the breakfast area for gathering our out-of-town family members. The first three mornings of our stay the staff member providing breakfast was so pleasant and attentive to our needs. Very friendly (I should have gotten her name).

The housekeeping left much to be desired. The room had posted that we needed to ask for our room to be serviced. The front desk said not now. Towels were all taken and not replaced. The bed was not made. No replacements for hygiene/or toilet paper.

The heart pool and the location.

They never ask for an ID, my reservation was pre paid and they tried to charge again. The room key after the first night was desativated we went to front desk for activated and they never ask for an ID it is not secure.

Refrigerator, microwave, spacious, updated furniture.

Dirty bathroom, green algae pool, hot tub broke, mattresses uncomfortable and small for queen beds they were more like full size beds. Not worth what I had to pay.

The hotel was very nice - clean - staff was nice - comp breakfast was good - area super clean and nice lobby and eating area

we were there for a baseball tournament so the only negative thing I have to say was that there was only one washing machine and all the families were trying to wash uniforms

pool, hot tub, cooling/heating system was awesome. large bathroom, bed firm, had refrig, & micro. coffee available 24hrs, with tea, cocoa...

bus full of teens at breakfast!!! not hotels fault just not good timing for us. we ate late breakfast. the breakfast person did their best!!didn't like room arrangement the way the bed was placed. king was at an odd place in room!!

The staff went out of their way to make sure that we were well taken care of. They fixed the hot tub within 15 minutes of the kids telling them it wasn't working.
