Hampton Inn Troy

The location was good but the stay was awful.

Our room was literally falling apart. It had a nasty smell when we arrived. The toilet was loose, the shower head was stuck on the massage setting. The ring just spun around and would not adjust to regular spray. The cabinets were falling apart.

Perfect location to university

Bathroom not very clean, shampoo bottle was completely empty and sink spout is in a weird angle so water gets all over counter when you wash hands

Hot breakfast and cleanliness and everyone was polite

Lack of concern or willingness to help during our two hour wait for housekeeping to clean our reserved room.

The sofa was covered in pretty hair. The was towels were stained and dirty. The room smelled of smoke.

Hidden charges, I¿ve stayed at Hampton Inn several times and this was the first time I¿ve been disappointed. This time was the first time I¿ve been charged for parking maintenance, not advertised. Staff wasn¿t very informed or helpful resolving issues

Air conditioning didn¿t cool, bed has horrible, no shampoo in the bottle provided and the shower didn¿t drain.

Beds were so comfortable. Great breakfast. Friendly staff

Mattress was very uncomfortable pillows were not great either. Did not sleep well.

Only thing ask for first floor but didn't get it, but over all it was a great stay anyway

No clean linen , had a event & unable to take a bath. Linen came late in evening on the second day.. That just upset my visit. When you come in from a long day you want to take a bath & relax.

Clean room and clean sheets and a good breakfast.

Other than rescue or service dogs, no pets or animals should be allowed to stay inside the property. Any animal must be on leash at all times -inside or outside. A large great Dane, over 120 LBS was brought in by a guest. Recommend NO animals be allowed.

Very Clean and comfortable. Close to route, and easy access to other venues.

Breakfast was of poor quality and options very limited. Room smelled musky. Staff was away from front desk often.

Hotel room was clean, equipped and ready for us and sealed for protection. We only had 2 coffees, but that was not a deal breaker!

The location was central to all of the places we had to be.

Staff never at front desk. Staff had Carts everywhere & the Brute container of “clean” towels was knocked over onto floor, with towels EVERYWHERE!!! Alerted staff & their solution was to fold & put back in container for distribution—DISGUSTING!!!

I liked that the room had a nightlight and a place to charge electronics.

My fitted sheet kept pulling off of the bed.

They did not clean the rooms. If you wanted clean towels and linens you had to get them at the front desk. You had to take out your trash. All that was provided was a bed, nothing else.

We like the Hampton quality and the close location to Troy University.

The water faucet in the bathroom does not come over the sink enough. When washing your hands, water gets all over the counter. It would be nice if the shower head could be adjustable by angle and water delivery mode.
