Fairfield Inn Huntsville

Location

The breakfast use to be better and had a better variety that?s why I choose Fairfield hotels. Not so good now. There was no milk and no fruit.

Everything. The rooms are great, the breakfast was great! I loved all the options. The staff was great! Hotel employee at the front desk greeted us with a huge smile and was such a delight! Hotel employee in charge of the breakfast was super sweet!

The room was not as clean as it should be. There were stains on the bedding and the toilet stopped working.

Due to traffic issues we checked in about 6 hours late. The staff were very friendly, understanding and accommodating. Our 5 day stay was excellent.

Large room, comfortable bed and excellent location

Didn't get checked in until almost 5, no toiletries in room, just unhappy with the experience.

Hot breakfast.

Not enough coffee, Shampoo,Conditioner etc in the room. Great if only one person stays but still only enough coffee for one cup. Pillows on the bed are only half pillows.

Don¿t know didn¿t stay at the hotel we booked. Had to go to another hotel that had a room available before midnight ! Unfortunately this meant more money. Over all was not pleased. Not to mention multiple charges on my credit card. Took days to straighte.

The room wasn¿t available 5 hours after it was supposed to be ready. The reason why we had to go some where else.

The staff were great. They always greeted us when we left or came back to the hotel. The location is great, close to restaurants and stores. The room was clean.

The continental breakfast didn't have have coffee and didn't have a variety of options. I had to go out every morning to get coffee. The pool was nice but it wasn't cleaned because we kept getting tangled in someone's hair.

Location to the space center

There were little black hairs on the bed. The front desk woman told us that she could bring us new sheets but we would have to change them ourselves because no one was there to do it. She said manager would follow up with us, but never did.

The locations of the hotel was good it was near the mall in the movies, restaurants

The pictures did not match the outside of the hotel I was little puzzled But over all it was okay

Location

The breakfast was not set all up by 7:30 am of Friday. It was on Saturday. Ask for our room to be clean at 12:35 it was not had to go get towels at the front desk.

I am very sensitive to smells. In the room, it seemed to me that smoking had been disguised by some cleaning scent but not quite...

They charged my debit card a extra 170 after I already paid for the room

Nice staff! Moved us to a new room when ours smelled like smoke. Quick check in and good breakfast. It was also nice to be able to use the side entrance doors and have plenty of parking! Internet TV with HBO Now was a nice bonus too!

The pool and hot tub were under extreme renovation and closed, but it was not mentioned anywhere. The counter space and bathroom area were extremely small.

All but one of the front desk staff were excellent.

The second day my trash was taken out but my beds were not made. The third day my room wasn't clean after 4 hours. And it was forced to sit in the lobby for an hour and a half to wait for it to get cleaned. Carpets were never vacuumed over 4 days. Quite u

Staff was very friendly, place was clean and a good value.

The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone was courteous and cheerful. Plenty of staff on hand.

The water was shut off to our room for approx. 4 hours due to a plumbing malfunction. This was extremely inconvenient.I realize that the staff could not avoid this situation - but I did not want to pay the same rate because of this.

It is relatively easy to find and mostly convenient for anyone working on Redstone or MSFC or for one of the main government contractors in the area. I can see that it might be difficult for someone not familiar with Huntsville to find, though.

The parking for the hotel is minimal and it can be somewhat difficult to find if you're not familiar with Huntsville.

Quickness on checkout

The room smelled badly, it was not cleaned very well. The bed was uncomfortable. There was no staff on hand when needed.
