Lakeside Inn Guntersville

Friendly staff

Was not clean. Smells like mildew and mold. Bathroom like did not come on right away and the main room light did not work.

Location to lake and restaurants, very clean

Checking out

Roaches, no breakfast, smell of mold

Staff. Updated rooms.

The cleanliness has gone downhill in the past couple of years. They also have begun allowing long term stays. I had to move rooms the second night and there were 5 men in the room next to me. Noisy. Loud. Too much.

location

bathroom door sticking in room 202

Comfortable beds, decent tvs, great boat parking with outlets to charge.

Toilets are too low, the shower head is low, towels and sheets were stained

I have stayed here many times now. The same people are always here working and they have improved something each visit. This time the room had anew fantastic shower

Able to find a room for a big event relatively close. Staff was very nice and polite. Had a mini fridge and microwave.

Room was not the cleanest as far as the walls and bigger things like that. Smelled of old cigarettes even though it was anon smoking room. I guess you can¿t make people do the right thing

The customer service was great!

Marketing as lakeside is not accurate. You can see a bit of the lake through power lines on the second floor. The linens were stained. There was not much of a cover on the bed and the blanket had holes. Overall, though, it served its purpose!

Very comfortable beds, excellent water pressure in the shower and great boat parking with outlets to charge.

The toilets are very low.

Room was clean and comfortable. Area was quiet. Got a good night¿s sleep.

Towels were small and there were only 2.

The hotel room I had seemed to be a nice room and it seemed to be somewhat clean

My room seemed clean but the smell was terrible. It literally smells like a wet dog and it was very strong Oder. Some of the characters hanging out around the place seemed a bit shady

The rooms are spacious, elegant and attracting.

They need to do a better job cleaning the mess that¿s around. Plus once I got in the room it smelled like weed.

Location was suitable to where I needed to be.

Climate was terrible in the room humidity was extremely high. Sheets felt damp my paper in my folder was also very damp and hard to write on.

It was cleaner than I ever expected, especially in the room. Also, upon check-out, I was flagged down by housekeeping letting me know I had left jewelry in the room--which is super honest, thoughtful, unexpected, and commendable-- in my opinion.

The wifi was unusable after the first night, but otherwise no complaints.

Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The door handle was missing to enter between floors. The whole second floor smelled so bad because of drugs.

not really anything room was not as described

hotel must have been in bad area local pizza place wont deliver because of reputation pool was out of order and hotel advertised free breakfast and did not have one bed very uncomfortable and room had exposed live electrical wires

Clean rooms, hot water, and location

Location

Some lights didn’t work. Electrical outlets didn’t work had to trouble shoot myself because staff seemed disinterested in correcting the problem. Remote did not operate the tv correctly. Had to call front desk twice to get new remote.

I stay here several times per year fishing at Lake Guntersville. Great bass boat parking and plug ins. Great location.
