Doubletree by Hilton Dothan

This hotel was great. The lobby, pool, and restaurant area's were extremely clean. The staff was super friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel the next time I am in town and I would recommend it to anyone visiting.

Everything was great other than the location. Turning into the hotel is horrible if you are coming in from the northside of town. There is nothing the hotel can do about, its a problem that was created by the city.

Not much, just the pool which was ice cold and the area

I booked 4 rooms, 1 room was so dirty with the sheets. It had yellow stain¿s all over the sheets and blood stains. When I we went to tell them they handed us some clean sheets. I didn¿t pay that kind of money to stay in filth and to make my own bed. Gross

Very clean, comfortable beds & good location.

I feel like with the price you pay for just 1 night they should have at least offered complimentary breakfast OR with the breakfast you do offer for $12 needs to have more options.

Check in was a breeze and very friendly staff. Hotel has a lot of amenities and a great breakfast selection that is not badly priced either.

Room was not as clean as I would have expected. Floor in bathroom were not cleaned properly dirty hand and fingerprints in the bathroom doors and wall.

The location was nice and the bed was very comfortable.

Our nightstand, headboard, and bed vibrated all night long. We have no idea what could have been causing it but it was very annoying and kept us from getting rest!

At check in, the employee was real weird about my drivers license. He kept looking at it, took it in the back, and was rude. It made me feel uncomfortable that he took my id in the back. I would say check-in was awful. I have neve been treated this way

The staff were very helpful. Our key did work and not only did they reset it, but walked us to our room to make we were able to get it in. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

My husband has changed his mind totally about hotels and said he will gladly and only stay at a holiday inn. Staff was amazing

Our first stay did not have drifridge ( booked at hotel directly) very minor inconvience but would not stop from booking again.

Our key card did not work and instead of the staff replacing it we had to wait for him to come up and let us in

Food and bar at the same location

Everything (both food and bar) closes to early 9:00 pm. The first time I booked , I didn't get there until after 9 so, no food. Knowing that, get there early or make plans for supper.

Everything was great! Staff was very nice, room service staff and the breakfast was very good.

Location

Toilet was overflowing with tissue in it when we opened the bathroom door. I immediately reported it and was offered a plunger. I said no, I'm not the maintenance person and could we please change rooms which he did.

The staff was terrible. I understand it's a trying time (Hurricane Michael) but we were all affected.

The front desk attendant seemed annoyed as he told us we didnt have a reservation upon arrival (we did) & informed us that the pool was closed for the weekend AFTER we checked in, We primarily booked this hotel for the pool,

We Found a Beg Bug in one of the 2 Rooms we booked . We checked the other room and did not find Bed Bugs. Because of the Hurricane there were no more rooms within 200 Miles so 4 Grown Men slept in one room for 3 nights.

Cleanliness

We cannot believe that there is no closet to hang clothes and no fridge. Very poor design since it is a fairly new hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff.

The shower was very slippery. Not sure why. Almost fell several times. Had to hold on with one haND so I didn't fall.

The room was ok. It was clean.

The number one thing I disliked about this hotel was the pool was closed. The staff stated that it would be closed for two weeks. Who closes a pool on a holiday weekend? My three year grandchild was very disappointed. Also the staff was never at the desk.
