Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Birmingham Bessemer

Clean, up to date, good location, swimming pool, had breakfast and church.

The staff is a mixture of those who understand the meaning of customer service and those who do not.

It seems to still be under construction a year later. I was here last year and it makes for a smelly dirty elevator.

Clean rooms; friendly staff

Didnt like the grab and go breakfast idea so well.

There was a bed to sleep in, was clean and the breakfast was satisfying.

The front desk was rude. The pool was closed. The fitness room was closed. There was construction occurring. My view was of a very large dumpster. I couldn¿t even use the dryer because the front desk did not have change. Very outdated everything.Price Hi.

Fitness room was unavailable. They would not give me Marriott points. The 2 reasons why I picked this hotel with a bit more premium price than others were not delivered.

False advertising, no hot tub. Pool heater did not work

The hot tub is not heated. Apparently they call it a whirlpool¿. That¿s why I picked that hotel for the indoor pool and hot tub

Staff was courteous when we initially walked in. The morning staff amazing with the hot breakfast provided. Extremely helpful and with a smile at 6am!

Made reservations and paid in full at this hotel. We arrived very late and were just there to sleep. The late night clerk told us as soon as we walked in that her computer was down and she couldn’t assist us and literally did not give us a room

The front desk gentleman, (the manager of the hotel), was thoroughly helpful, professional, and kind. Great guy!

The hot tub was not working.

I enjoyed the hotel entirely overall.

When we asked for extra towels, we were given the run around. The general manager gave me one bath towel and I had 2 double rooms with a total of 7 people. That's my only complaint.

Hotel was clean and we like the included breakfast. Especially the waffles. We only stayed 1 night and it was great.

The comfortable sofa bed mattress. This is the first time in my life that I can truly say, I slept on a sofa bed and didn't have a back problem when I got out of it. A 10/10 for the sofa bed comfort.

The location was excellent and room size.

When I entered the hotel, the receptionist was engaged in her phone so she did not notice me until I continued to seek her attention.

The staff wasn’t at the desk I was left waiting for over 30 minutes only for him to come from the back like it’s wasn’t nothing. My reservation couldn’t be found then the elevator wasn’t working.

Yes the property was nice and morning staff was much more friendly and pleasant.

staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms where clean and smelled clean. The pool water was clean. No problems with parking. One of my best stays of anywhere this year. Will return again.

Bed was a little stiff and so was the couch. There were no trash liners in the trash cans, so I had to buy some. Not sure if liners are used at the motel but I personally like to take my trash out daily and having a trash liner makes that a lot easier. The coffee pot did not take k-cups so I bought a cheap coffee maker that used k-cups so I could enjoy my favorite brand.
