Hampton Inn and Suites Bessemer Birmingham

Front CS was who I spoke to.before arriving & I request an extra clean room due to a recent transplant. He assured that my request would be complete by my arrival. When I arrived he let me know that it was done along with a can of lysol.

No. In fact I had a King Suite with a let out bed. And I was impress how this hotel preserved room with the sliding doors and kitchenette in the front and shared moveable TV in the middle of the room.

Cleanliness and Staff

My original king room there was a loud mechanical noise coming from the bathroom vent , I waited 35-45 minutes for check in, at breakfast the grits and potatoes were not cooked properly along with the food area not being cleaned timely.

Great staff, very nice room.

Bathroom outlets are wired to wall light switch, so when you turn off light, night light does NOT work! Poor planning or electrician goofed up.

I like the ducked off location of the hotel and it being surrounded by other hotels. The parking lot was very spacious and everything was clean. It was very quiet and peaceful. There was a snack area and breakfast which was great and very convenient.

I didn’t like how difficult it was to try to find channels or how to use the Tv. I tried to put in my Disney+ and it kept logging me out.

I have been traveling too Tuscaloosa for years for the Alabama Home Football games. My stay has always been in Tuscaloosa. One of my friends suggested staying in Bessemer, so this year I booked this wonderful location! I will continue to stay at this wonderful, clean amazing place!! The staff are excellently trained, the facilities are immaculately clean!! The Beds are so very comfortable!! Thank you keeping customer service a standard!

The desk clerk, Jeff, was so friendly. The hallways were wide. The hotel was new. Loved the variety of fresh fruit and the waffle options (buttermilk and red velvet) at breakfast.

I don’t give many 10’s but this Hotel deserved it!Cleanest hotel I’ve been in! The Staff were great. Room was great, bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was delicious!

The hotel is always very clean. My room was very comfortable and clean as well, the breakfast is always good offering many options. Checking in is fast and easy. Staff is very friendly and professional. This is now my hotel of choice when traveling in this area.

The coffee! The coffee in the room and in breakfast room is terrible. And that is the only complaint that I really have.

The pool was so small. Staff was ok, breakfast was ok.
