Nothing I stayed for 6 days and did not get clean towels one time. The fee was about -- while the bums and crack users paid about half that. I have good credit and will never use your rip off prices again.
I was able to park in front of room and macdonalds was within walking distance.

There was nothing positive to say about this hotel.
It exceeded my expectations especially since there were so many bad reviews. I enjoyed myself. I got exactly what I paid for plus the TV was nicer than most hotels I've been to, and the Jamaican restaurant across from it was amazing.

Top Tips
- Secure your hotel room several months in advance for major events like the Daytona 500 (February) or Bike Week (March), as availability drops quickly and prices increase significantly during these periods.
- Inquire about complimentary shuttle services to the terminal, beach, or local attractions, as some hotels near Daytona Beach International Airport, such as Hyatt Place or Hilton Garden Inn, offer this amenity. Shuttle schedules may vary after 8 PM or during off-peak times, so confirm with the front desk after booking.
- While many hotels offer free parking, some larger chains and oceanfront resorts in Daytona Beach charge nightly fees, often ranging from $15 to $30 per night at these locations. Ask at booking for potential savings like multi-night discounts.
- It is customary to tip hotel housekeeping $2–$5 USD per night, bellhops $1–$2 USD per bag, and concierges for special assistance. Tipping in cash is preferred, though some hotels allow card tips at check-out, and this applies even at large chains.
- Expect your final bill to include both Florida sales tax (6%) and Volusia County's 6% tourist tax, which are standard across chain and independent hotels. Resort fees, which are rare at airport hotels but common near beaches, can add $15–$35 per night.
- Bring a government-issued photo ID and a major credit card for check-in, as these are required for incidental holds or security deposits at U.S. hotels. Digital IDs and debit cards may not be accepted by all national brands, so verify accepted forms during reservation.
- Research flexible cancellation policies, especially for weather disruptions during Florida's hurricane season (June–November), and consider travel insurance for added protection. Subscribe to hotel or airline alerts for real-time weather updates, especially around large events.
- Verify the hotel's minimum check-in age before booking, as many Daytona Beach properties require guests to be 21 or older, particularly during Spring Break and Bike Week. If under 21, check family brands or airport hotels where age policies may be more flexible outside peak event periods.
- If traveling with pets, always confirm the hotel's pet rules, including size or breed restrictions and non-refundable pet fees, as policies vary widely. Brands like La Quinta or Residence Inn are known for being pet-friendly, and you can find several dog parks and select beach areas nearby.
- Consider renting a car for flexibility, as Daytona Beach is a car-centric area. Parking at chain hotels near the airport is often free, while boardwalk or oceanfront properties may charge up to $30 per night. The Daytona Beach Trolley and rideshares like Uber or Lyft are alternative transport options.
- For business travelers, confirm essential amenities such as reliable high-speed Wi-Fi, quiet workspaces, or business centers, which can differ between properties near the airport. Look for hotels promoting 'business-ready' features, including those from Marriott or Hilton brands.
- Families should prioritize hotels with free breakfasts, pools, kid-friendly menus, or connecting rooms, and some near the Speedway offer ticket packages. For larger groups, ask about suite layouts or kids-eat-free programs, which are available at select Holiday Inns.
- Observe standard quiet hours, typically 10 PM to 7 AM, and adhere to posted pool and facility rules. Pool hours may close as early as 9 PM or open at sunrise; ask at check-in for the schedule, and wear appropriate attire in common areas.
- If you need accessible rooms or facilities, contact the property in advance to confirm availability and secure the right accommodations. Many chain hotels provide roll-in showers and visual alarm systems, so request confirmation on room type when booking.
- Most restrictions have lifted, but some hotels maintain enhanced cleaning or optional mask policies. Hilton, Marriott, and IHG properties may continue optional enhanced cleaning; request the latest update from your chosen property before arrival.
- Leverage the front desk or concierge for insider tips on local restaurants, less-crowded beaches, or current events. Ask about airport shuttle timing or local partner discounts that may be available to guests of major chains.
- Expect significant crowds and heavy traffic on main roads during high-profile events, which can double car travel times. Reserve parking, shuttles, and dinner several days ahead, especially on event weekends.
- Pack high-SPF sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses, as the Florida sun is intense. Several chains like Hampton Inn or Fairfield offer complimentary sunscreen at the pool desk, so ask about this amenity upon arrival.
- Select your hotel location based on your plans: beachfront for water activities (e.g., Hilton or Marriott), near Daytona International Speedway for races (e.g., Residence Inn), or by the Boardwalk for entertainment (e.g., Boardwalk Inn).
- Before booking, review hotel ratings on TripAdvisor or Yelp to check cleanliness and service. Consider joining hotel loyalty programs, such as Marriott Bonvoy or Hilton Honors, which can earn upgrades or free nights after one or two stays in the Daytona area.
