The staff was friendly and accommodating, breakfast was amazing. Our room was clean and a very good size and had everything we needed. The location is absolutely gorgeous with the trees and river flowing through. The Biergarten was a fun add-on.

Walking distance to train station, markets and decent amount of food options. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent to good - could use some variety for longer stays though.

Stayed at the hotel to spend time in Munich and go to Oktoberfest. While it is outside the city center, the proximity to the Pasing train station made getting around incredibly easy.
Hotel staff, WI-FI, TV were excellent. Location, although relatively far from the center of Munich in Pasing, was very convenient with many nearby services and restaurants available. Good connection by Tram to center of Munich. Price was reasonable.
The complimentary breakfast is great - both hot and cold selections. The staff is cordial and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located close to a tram stop. Free parking is available on the side street so you can avoid the fee for the garage.

The staff was wonderful in assisting in getting to the destinations we wanted to visit. Helpful with maps, tram schedules and the many attractions in this beautiful city.
The place felt right as soon as you walk in, but felt much better once the staff greeted you.

The staff is so low key and yet deeply kind and caring for their guests - that is the very best part. The hotel was clean, well looked after and provided everything we wanted.

Top Tips
- Augsburg Airport (AGB) mainly handles general aviation and is 60-70 km (37-43 mi) from Munich city center. For Munich visits, flying into Munich Airport (MUC) is recommended to avoid long commute times and taxi costs of up to €80-120 (approx. $87-130 USD); MUC has direct international flights and train access to downtown in about 40 minutes.
- Rates and availability can increase by over 50% during peak events like Oktoberfest (late September to early October), Christmas markets (late November to December), and major Messe trade fairs. Reserve your hotel at least 3-6 months in advance to avoid sold-out dates and price surges.
- Choose accommodations within 500 m of S1 or S8 stations for direct airport transfers to Munich Hauptbahnhof; these trains operate every 10-20 minutes. If flying via AGB, select a central Augsburg hotel or stay near the A8 autobahn for easy car access.
- A Bayern Ticket allows unlimited daily regional train and bus travel for up to five people, starting at €29 (plus €10 per additional traveler). Purchase online or at stations for flexible day trips around Bavaria at one set fare.
- Hotel check-in usually starts at 15:00 and check-out is required by 11:00-12:00. Ask about baggage storage and parking, since central Munich street parking can cost €20-40 per day (approx. $22-44 USD) and is often limited.
- By law, hotels register all guests with a valid passport or EU/ID card. Request a VAT-inclusive receipt (Rechnung) at check-out if you require an official document for business expenses.
- Munich and Augsburg city hotels may add a tourist tax (Bettensteuer/Kurtaxe) of €1-3 (approx. $1.09-3.26 USD) per person, per night, payable at check-in. Confirm if your booking includes this fee.
- Central Munich hotels can have tram or street noise late at night. To reduce noise, request a courtyard- or rear-facing room when booking; supply is limited so verify in advance.
- Tipping at hotels and restaurants is customary but moderate—round up the bill or leave a 5-10% gratuity for good service. Pay tips in cash or specify the amount if using a card.
- For business stays, verify Wi-Fi speeds of at least 10 Mbps and ask if meeting rooms or printing services are available, as business amenities vary widely between hotels.
- To drive in downtown Munich or Augsburg Umweltzones (low emission areas), your vehicle needs a green environmental sticker (Feinstaubplakette). Most German rental cars have this, but confirm to avoid €80 penalties.
- Families can reserve connecting or multi-bed rooms and should do so early, as quantities are limited. Many hotels provide complimentary cots, high chairs, and reduced children’s breakfast pricing—confirm what's available when booking.
- Credit cards are widely accepted in most hotels, though smaller properties may prefer EC/Girocard or cash. Always request a VAT receipt for business or personal expense records.
- Historic guesthouses may have no elevators or feature narrow stairs. If you need step-free or ramp access, or have heavy luggage, confirm accessibility features before booking.
- Germans observe 'Ruhezeit,' a quiet period from 22:00 to 7:00 and often midday (13:00-15:00). Please be considerate of noise levels in hotel rooms and corridors, especially in older buildings.
- Front desk staff can recommend local dining, such as traditional beer gardens, or help arrange transport to cultural sites like Augsburg's Fuggerei or Therme Erding. Ask for staff suggestions tailored to your interests.
- Most shops in Bavaria close on Sundays and public holidays, and some small-town restaurants close on Mondays. Check hotel breakfast and late-night food service hours if arriving after 21:00 or on weekends.
