The location is the very best feature of this hotel. The staff were good as well.
Great location on the beach. Not to far from everything you¿d possibly need. Lots to do for teenagers and young kids in the immediate area.
The bathroom and kitchen were kept very clean. The windows and patio doors were quite dirty and hard to open or not open at all They upgraded me which was very gracious as I had requested a kitchen.

Liked the room overlooking the lake and it was very big so that we could move around with scooter.
The location is excellent and there is plenty of outdoor and under cover parking. There is a good choice of eateries in and around the hotel.I would recommend the hotel on location alone at this time.

Top Tips
- Book lakefront hotels in Osoyoos 6 to 12 weeks ahead of July-August and holiday weekends to avoid rates that typically peak 2 to 3 times above off-season, as well as minimum-stay rules. For best availability, compare rates across major chains and verify cancellation policies before committing.
- Airport transfers from Penticton Regional Airport (about 50-60 km; 45-60 minutes' drive) or Kelowna International (170-190 km; 2-2.5 hours' drive) require advance planning. Compare rental car versus shuttle costs, and confirm scheduled service if arriving after 20:00, as regional transport options may be limited.
- Expect hot, dry summers in Osoyoos, with July-August temperatures often ranging 25-35°C. During declared droughts, local hotels may issue water conservation advisories or limit laundry and pool use; confirm with your hotel if these policies are in effect before arrival.
- If remote work is critical, request tested Wi-Fi speed (Mbps) or a room with wired internet before booking, as many small motels rely on consumer-grade equipment. Larger chain hotels may offer business centers or upgraded connectivity; confirm these options directly if required.
- Most small Osoyoos motels offer step-free access due to single-story design, but formally accessible rooms and roll-in showers are not standard. To ensure your needs are met, request detailed room accessibility and bathroom measurements in writing prior to arrival.
- Factor a 14% tax into your Osoyoos hotel budget (5% GST, 8% PST, 1% municipal tax), which applies to rooms and most services. Confirm whether quoted rates include tax, as policies differ by chain.
- Off-season (October-May) hotel rates in Osoyoos are typically 15-25% lower and crowds are lighter compared to peak summer. For flexible travel, compare rates across leading brands for additional savings.
- Enhance your stay by choosing hotels with pools to enjoy Osoyoos Lake, which reaches 25-30°C (77-86°F) in summer, the warmest lake in Canada. For safety, always review pool operating hours and posted swimming advisories.
