Nothing! It was a dump everything dirty and non functioning they promise breakfast swimming pool WiFi and nothing was working nothing was provided it was a huge scam.
It was the worst place I've ever been to in my life. When we entered, were dirty and torn, the bed was awful, and the bottom of the bed had a sharp, protruding metal part that could cut your feet. I had to clean the bathroom myself

Hotel employee was amazing. He was very pleasant & friendly when I checked in. He answered all my questions. Great asset to your property.
First room smelled like smoke. Second room had a hole in the bathroom door.
The hotel was okay. What was disappointing was the price I initially booked and I thought was locked into was a different rate when I went to check in. I asked for the manager to contact me on three separate occasions and I have yet to receive a call.

Top Tips
- Select a hotel in Florida City or along US-1 to save 10-20 minutes each way when driving to the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center (nps.gov). For brand amenities, compare chain hotels like Holiday Inn Express or Fairfield Inn, and check for loyalty perks such as free breakfast or a pool if these are important to your stay.
- Rent a car for Florida City stays, as public transit is limited and most Everglades trailheads require personal vehicle access (miamidade.gov). Rental car desks are found at MIA airport and in select major hotels. If needed, confirm accessible parking or electric vehicle charging directly with your hotel.
- Plan for 35-55 minute drive times between Miami International Airport and Florida City. Compare Florida Turnpike tolls against the slower, toll-free US-1, using real-time traffic tools (miami-airport.com). Some hotels provide lobby kiosks with current route data, and always check local road conditions if traveling during hurricane season or after storms.
- Review hotel hurricane season policies for June 1-November 30, as many major brands offer flexible or refundable rates during this period. Use your hotel loyalty app or status for expedited cancellation, and consider purchasing travel insurance during booking for added protection (noaa.gov).
- Request a ground-floor or ADA-compliant room in advance if step-free access is needed, as on-arrival swaps are limited. For specific accessibility features like visual alarms, roll-in showers, or tactile signage, contact the hotel directly or note your needs in your booking profile.
- Hotel Wi-Fi is often basic; if working remotely, confirm bandwidth directly with the property, as peak times can slow speeds. Some brands (Hilton Honors, Marriott Bonvoy) offer enhanced Wi-Fi for loyalty members or a daily fee—verify availability before arrival.
- Plan grocery and dining runs ahead of time, since Florida City has fewer options than nearby Homestead. Some full-service hotels provide onsite minimarts or 24-hour snack shops, and you can ask the front desk about local food delivery partnerships (Walmart store locator).
- Book Everglades tours at least one day in advance and confirm your meeting point, since smaller tour operators fill up quickly (nps.gov). Large chain hotels may offer in-lobby tour booking or shuttles to the park during peak season—ask at check-in.
