A very cozy hotel. Incredibly friendly staff. Convenient covered parking. Delicious food options. Excellent (and unique) location. Exemplary cleanliness and very discreet room service. We don't know if we'll ever return to San Diego, but if we do, this will be our hotel of choice again.
Perfect location, right across the beach. Rooms were large with little terrace in front. Staff were very professional, attentive, friendly and helpful.

The location is absolutely amazing! We stayed in an oceanfront room, which came with an incredible view overlooking the Pacific beach. The room was also clean and convenient. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the JRDN restaurant was pretty good as well.

Lovely historic hotel with a warm room and big comfortable bed. I loved it. You are staying in an original building so be prepared to go back in time as far as decor, furniture and especially bathroom are concered. But that's part of the fun! Modest breakfast of coffee and pastries taken in an original dining area. The location was excellent, right amongst the historic buildings in the area. Bars and dining opportunities nearly and a nice little hiking trail nearby for some early morning exercise. A short walk to the light rail station which takes you to 'downtown' within minutes.
The hotel was very nice. Although the facilities were basic, it had a fabulous authentic feel. Breakfast scones were very good.
Dee and the staff were very helpful with everything. The location was amazing and the hotel itself was very clean and beautiful with a lot of history behind it.

The room is very clean ? and very good spot you can see the sea the downtown area and the airportAtmosphere was very chill calm and very good vibe When you shot the window you can hear any airplane nose or anything well done in that ? The staff were very friendly we arrived earlier and didn't charge for early check in the balcony and the rooftop was amazing ?
I loved that the room was super clean and had all the amenities I wanted-large kitchen with all amenities, 3 full bathrooms with walk in showers. Our "room" also had a nice dining room and living room space. The two king beds, sofa sleeper and two bunk beds were very comfortable!! We sat out on our balcony and watched the planes fly into and out of San Diego Airport. My grandkids loved this!! The staff was super professional, friendly and very helpful!! This is a beautiful hotel and in the future I will definitely be staying again!
I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and helpful, and my room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I arrived earlier than the official check-in time, but they kindly accommodated me with an early check-in. The view from the rooftop was also stunning and made the stay even more enjoyable.

The property is clean and updated. We got a welcome cocktail upon check-in, and that's a first and a nice touch. The staff there are awesome; friendly, customer service focused, and they went above and beyond to deliver a great experience. The rooms are clean and open. Small spaces, but we were really just there to experience San Diego.
This is a great boutique hotel located right near the lively gaslamp district. The decor is refreshingly artistic. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was delicious and varied. Facilities all clean and well maintained. Overall a great value for the price.

Pool, clean room, location, amenities at hotel
First of all, the location is great! We went a concert at the Rady Shell, it was within walking distance, GREAT!! The staff who checked us in (Gordon) was very, helpful, patient and professional. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return, although it was a little out of our budget ?

I liked that it was conveniently located to my office. The room was great and clean. The rooms were pretty quiet considering that is is near the freeway. Front desk/reception staff gave great service.
The staff was exceptional, especially Anthony, who went above and beyond to help us during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were very good. I would highly recommend this hotel. Its location was perfect for all the activities my family had planned- Petco Park, the San Diego Zoo, and Old Town.

I loved that the room was super clean and had all the amenities I wanted-large kitchen with all amenities, 3 full bathrooms with walk in showers. Our "room" also had a nice dining room and living room space. The two king beds, sofa sleeper and two bunk beds were very comfortable!! We sat out on our balcony and watched the planes fly into and out of San Diego Airport. My grandkids loved this!! The staff was super professional, friendly and very helpful!! This is a beautiful hotel and in the future I will definitely be staying again!
I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and helpful, and my room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I arrived earlier than the official check-in time, but they kindly accommodated me with an early check-in. The view from the rooftop was also stunning and made the stay even more enjoyable.

The location is absolutely amazing! We stayed in an oceanfront room, which came with an incredible view overlooking the Pacific beach. The room was also clean and convenient. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the JRDN restaurant was pretty good as well.
The location was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The coffee maker was good! Tons of activity in the area with lots of food and shopping.

Lovely historic hotel with a warm room and big comfortable bed. I loved it. You are staying in an original building so be prepared to go back in time as far as decor, furniture and especially bathroom are concered. But that's part of the fun! Modest breakfast of coffee and pastries taken in an original dining area. The location was excellent, right amongst the historic buildings in the area. Bars and dining opportunities nearly and a nice little hiking trail nearby for some early morning exercise. A short walk to the light rail station which takes you to 'downtown' within minutes.
The hotel was very nice. Although the facilities were basic, it had a fabulous authentic feel. Breakfast scones were very good.
Dee and the staff were very helpful with everything. The location was amazing and the hotel itself was very clean and beautiful with a lot of history behind it.

The room is very clean ? and very good spot you can see the sea the downtown area and the airportAtmosphere was very chill calm and very good vibe When you shot the window you can hear any airplane nose or anything well done in that ? The staff were very friendly we arrived earlier and didn't charge for early check in the balcony and the rooftop was amazing ?
I loved that the room was super clean and had all the amenities I wanted-large kitchen with all amenities, 3 full bathrooms with walk in showers. Our "room" also had a nice dining room and living room space. The two king beds, sofa sleeper and two bunk beds were very comfortable!! We sat out on our balcony and watched the planes fly into and out of San Diego Airport. My grandkids loved this!! The staff was super professional, friendly and very helpful!! This is a beautiful hotel and in the future I will definitely be staying again!
I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and helpful, and my room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I arrived earlier than the official check-in time, but they kindly accommodated me with an early check-in. The view from the rooftop was also stunning and made the stay even more enjoyable.
