You can¿t beat the location of this hotel. It is absolutely stunning. At the base of the highest peak in the northeastern United States, I would come back for the wrap around porch alone.
My room was on the 2 nd floor front side loved the old look of the hotel rm bathroom was very spacious and clean had dinner in main dining room staff was great and food did not disappoint also accommodated my 7 yr old grand son
Love the mountain setting and the old world charm off this grand dame!

This was over $---- for one night and there wasn't AC in the town house. We were hot, sweaty and uncomfortable.

Free parking. Gorgeous views. Wonderful front porch but they need to bring back the beautiful and comfortable wicker furniture. Also assign staff to take drink orders on the porch and bellboys to meet cars arriving and dropping off luggage.
A traditional turn of the 20th century vibe with a rich history helped enhance the relaxing surroundings. An unparalleled mountain range view. Great service with friendly personnel. Sadly, it appears renovations will strip much of the N.E. historic value.
This is a beautiful hotel with amazing amenities, including a spa, indoor and outdoor pool, gym, game room, movie theater, and farm with animals. There are multiple dining options on-site, including a tavern, fine dining, room service, and a bar.

The location
The room was clean, and we'll equipped. We had an incident with the washing machine (not their fault. It was a washer/dryer combo, couldn't figure out how to stop to open door.)called front desk maintenance was there within 10 minutes.

It is an old time New England in with the rooms upstairs and the restaurant on the first floor. The rooms are nice. Each one is different. Then attached to the Inn is a pub that has live music three nights a week. Tuesday is the night we went.

great staff, clean and great food options
The staff and location and food were great. The hotel is old but you would know that going in and expect thinngs to be as such. You can easily see that they did rehab along the way.

Nicely landnscaped. Very convenient to mountains, Jackson Village and North Conway.
We thought the room was reasonably priced for the amount we paid. Overlooking a brook off the back deck. The room was quiet with great sunshine in the afternoon. We even got a continental breakfast with eggs and some sort of protein.
Size of room. Breakfast was a nice surprise

Stayed there for three nights, the man at the front desk was not professional. He was not at the desk 90% of the time and had to be called down from his upstairs bedroom.

Very clean and quiet.
We loved the indoor swimming pool. It¿s located right off the highway but far enough away that you can¿t hear the traffic. Staff was amazing and answered all of our questions and also gave us a card for discounts to local businesses.

Location, saw a bald eagle
The hotel is in a nice location for all the major attractions in the area, and for a summer visit would probably be a much more enjoyable destination.
No complaints, nice place

Had a fully enclosed front, for all the rooms and office. This was very nice. Brought the breakfast to the tables in here, since very limited seating in breakfast area. Parking was ample and safe. Hotel was near Kancamagus trail.
The only thing ?good? about this hotel was the location.

Top Tips
- Book your Bretton Woods hotel 3 to 6 months ahead for peak winter and summer weekends, as rates can surge 25% to 40% closer to popular dates like Christmas, New Year's, and July-August. Early booking also gives you better options for amenities, such as onsite spa access or mountain views.
- Account for New Hampshire's 8.5% Meals & Rooms Tax on all lodging, which adds approximately $8.50 to $17 to a $100 to $200 USD room rate. Review your reservation details to confirm if taxes are already included in your total charges.
- Purchase Mount Washington Cog Railway and Auto Road tickets online in advance to secure specific time slots; each round trip takes 60 to 90 minutes. Allow extra time for parking and boarding, especially during peak foliage or holiday periods.
- Plan for private transportation, as public transit is very limited. Boston Logan is typically 2.5 to 3 hours (130 to 140 mi) away and Manchester-Boston is 1.5 to 2 hours (85 to 100 mi) by car, depending on road conditions.
- From November to April, winter driving conditions in the Bretton Woods area may add 30 to 60 minutes to your travel time. Equip your vehicle with winter tires or chains, especially on I-93 and US-302 corridors.
- Mobile coverage outside the valley floor is limited. Confirm your hotel's Wi-Fi speed and reliability before arrival if you require consistent connectivity for remote work or video calls.
- Grocery stores and late-night dining are limited in Bretton Woods. North Conway and Bartlett, which offer supermarkets and pharmacies, are a 20 to 30 minute drive. Check if your hotel provides onsite convenience shops or 24-hour room service, and request a refrigerator or kettle in advance if needed.
- Request written confirmation for specific accessible features, such as step-free entry or a roll-in shower, 2 to 4 weeks before arrival at historic hotels, as inventory is limited. Ask about local tour providers or shuttle services that can accommodate guests with mobility needs.
- Budget for standard U.S. tipping practices: 15% to 20% for restaurant servers and $2 to $5 USD per service for bell staff or valets. Ask the front desk if tips can be charged to your room for added convenience.
