Very nice courteous polite and helpful staff
Great value, friendly staff, decent breakfast, 24 hrs restaurant order delivered to room
The location on Isis Island was beautiful and they were very quick with the boats crossing the river coming and going. We rarely waited more than a few minutes. Their continental breakfast was large and great. The views from the island were grand!

The staff is incredible. Their attention to detail and courtesy is 100! The breakfast is heaven w/so many options to choose & seats w/a great view of the gorgeous pool. The incredible mall is attached to the hotel which is perfect. Security is 100 too.
The staff (hotel employee at the front desk is awesome!), the incredible breakfast, the room, the direct access to the mall, the pool (& their staff). Despite being far from the Nile, this hotel was the best. We left our reservation at the Conrad & it was worth it

Wonderful location along the Nile, near the Egyptian Museum, Tahir Square, many Embassies. Also the staff are very professional.  the Concierge Manager is fantastic, the Executive Lounge, and all other staff.
Honestly, the Nile view was wonderful and the lounge access was a nice bonus. Unfortunately, there's no way to reach the lounge access for VIP check-in. So you are still forced to wait in the long line in the lobby and deal w/ the rude desk.
The hotel is quite good and good location. The reception guy helped me a lot during my stay as he was very welcoming and quick in finding reservations and has a good sense of humor.

I loved everything about the hotel, I am definitely returning back. My room was perfect, the bed was comfortable and I had complimentary fruit basket and mini bar full of drinks. My airport experience as a guest of the hotel was flawless. 100/100
Great location only 15mins from thr Airport. Gated with armed security at check in. The grounds, lobby and everything outside the rooms are 5 star luxury.

Staff was extremely professional, helpful and friendly. Loved that breakfast could be delivered to the room and that all room service was no more than 30 minutes. Food was delicious. Location was amazing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Top Tips
- Expect about 14% VAT and a 10% service charge to be added to mid-range and higher hotel room rates, which increases the nightly price by around 24%. Review invoice line items closely before payment to confirm all charges.
- Hotels in Cairo routinely photocopy foreign guests’ passports at check-in for police or immigration registration. Bring a photocopy to speed up processing and keep your original in your possession for security.
- Using Uber or Careem through the app typically reduces daytime taxi costs by 20-50% compared to on-street rates and helps avoid overcharging. App pickups are generally permitted at Cairo International Airport; confirm current rules before arrival.
- Peak tourist season in Cairo runs from October to April, which drives up demand and prices. Book hotels 2-6 weeks ahead for weekends, and 4-8 or more weeks in advance for Eid or Ramadan dates, as rates and availability can change quickly.
- Hotels on Giza’s Pyramids Road are about 5-15 minutes by car from the pyramids, while Downtown or Tahrir hotels often require a 30-45 minute drive due to traffic. Zamalek and Garden City hotels are closer to museums and embassies, but typically cost more.
- During Cairo’s peak summer, electricity can be unreliable. Most 4- and 5-star international hotels provide full generator backup to avoid blackouts; confirm generator or UPS coverage when booking for interrupted power protection.
- Do not drink tap water in Cairo. Use only bottled water provided by the hotel for drinking and brushing teeth. Most hotels supply complimentary or metered bottled water to lower gastrointestinal risk.
- Tip porters 10-20 EGP (about $0.30 to $0.60) per bag and housekeeping 20-50 EGP (about $0.60 to $1.50) per day. Leave tips daily in an envelope to make sure the correct staff receive them.
- When paying by card, decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) to avoid a 2-8% markup; choose to pay in EGP instead. For better exchange rates, withdraw EGP from bank ATMs such as Banque Misr or CIB rather than using currency kiosks.
- During Ramadan, many Cairo hotel restaurants reduce public daytime dining. Hotels often provide suhoor, iftar, or adjusted buffet hours, so confirm breakfast and restaurant times before booking if daytime meals are required.
- Sign up for loyalty programs with Marriott, Accor, Hilton, or IHG to access member rates and perks. Savings or added benefits like free breakfast can offset 5-15% of total stay costs at chain properties in Zamalek, Garden City, or Heliopolis.
