Overall comfort and restaurant had good quality food
it's closeness to the Nice airport. It had a free shuttle. It stored my heavy luggage for four days when I took a side trip to Italy for four days.
We had an extremely early flight and had to be at the airport at 4:30 AM, so the hotel's location was perfect and the free shuttle was a welcome surprise!

Great location. AC worked great and it was a summer hot day. They stored my luggage before I could check in and kept my luggage until time to go to the train station. Train Station is close by. I appreciated the good help of the receptionist.
Walking distance to restaurants, shoppes, and beach.
The staff was great, maybe even a little too friendly? And the room was very nice and clean.

Very clean and quiet. Staff was excellent. This facility is more modern. Great coffee maker in the room, small fridge. Water cooler downstairs for water bottles, which is helpful when walking. Location was phenomenal. We were close to everything!
Staff said we booked two twin beds and needed to pay extra for queen bed. Our printout said one queen bed. After some escalation, staff upgraded for to large suite with King bed. Easy walk to promenade and old Nice. Good hotel!

Location and the room was big for Europe. I loved the look and feel of it.
Location is in a good area within Nice but it cannot be reached by car so you will have to park somewhere else first before walking there. For a first time visitor, it is very difficult to do since neither Google Map nor Apple Map can guide you there.
Ok as far as location, but really bad experience because I was charged more than 50% more when they passed me to a "sister" hotel, that charged the card I sent for incidentals. No=w, no one is replying to my requests for adjustment. NEVER AGAIN

Where to stay in Nice
Learn about the top neighbourhoods of Nice
This cosmopolitan seaside destination is among the best in Europe, thanks to Nice's mix of Old Town charm and modern flair. Here you'll find one of the French Riviera's longest and most famous beaches, which is made of small pebbles, as well as year-round sunshine, fantastic dining and enticing markets. Nice's beauty extends to the art it showcases inside its museums, most notably the Musee Marc Chagall and nearby Musee Matisse, which sits a few minutes north of this area.
The Nice Cote d'Azur International Airport anchors this coastal area about 20 minutes from central Nice. Visitors are a short drive away from Saint-Laurent-du-Var, as well as within easy reach of the beachfront and Nice's museums. While you're here, do some shopping at the area's CAP 3000 mall.

Top Tips
- Take Tram T2 from Nice Côte d’Azur airport to central Jean Médecin for €1.50 (approx. $1.60 USD) one way. This 20-25 minute ride saves up to €20 (approx. $22 USD) compared to a taxi. For hotels along the tram route, confirm stop proximity to minimize walking with luggage.
- Budget for the required tourist tax, which ranges from €0.50–€4.40 (approx. $0.55–$4.80 USD) per person per night based on hotel classification. This is collected at check-out by law. Confirm the exact amount at booking, as it varies by property rating.
- Book at least 3 months in advance for the Monaco Grand Prix (late May) and 1–3 months ahead for Carnival (February), as central Nice hotel rates can double or triple and rooms often sell out. Check hotel cancellation policies for high-demand dates before booking.
- Expect to pay 20-50% more for rooms with Promenade des Anglais sea views compared to inland counterparts of similar class. Compare listings by specific address, and request the floor level if view quality is important.
- Confirm step-free access in Old Town hotels before booking, as many small properties have 2-4 flights of stairs and no elevator. When accessible rooms are required, verify the 'accessible room' label and ask for full details on the route from street to room.
- Reserve hotel parking in advance if driving, as private hotel parking typically costs €20–€35 (approx. $22–$38 USD) per day. On-street parking is limited to short paid periods or blue zones with time discs; verify your hotel's available options and nearby public parking details.
- Ask to be charged in euros at check-out to avoid additional fees from Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC). Request your final invoice in EUR for verification, as this can help avoid unplanned 2-4% surcharges.
- Use your in-room safe for passports and cash, as pickpocketing increases in summer, especially on trams and around Place Masséna and the Promenade. For passports and valuables, request front desk safekeeping if provided by your hotel.
- Hotel breakfast service typically runs from 07:00-10:00. If you need to depart earlier, request an early-breakfast or takeaway option at least a day in advance, as hotels can prepare these by prior arrangement.
- Filter for Clé Verte (Green Key) certification if environmental standards are important, as this indicates third-party audited sustainability. Ask hotels about seasonal water-saving measures during July-August, when drought measures may apply.
- Carry small euro notes and coins, as some market stalls and beach kiosks set card minimums of €5–€10 (approx. $5.50–$11 USD). ATMs are widely available near Place Garibaldi and the Promenade for quick cash access if needed.
- Check hotel Wi-Fi speed if planning remote work, as speeds vary. Ask for advertised Mbps and request a quiet room facing away from the Promenade, as street-facing rooms can be noisier in the evenings.
