The staff were extremely friendly on entrance to the hotel. The room itself was immaculate and very comfortable. We only stayed for one evening but could see the advantage of staying for longer with the amenities the hotel and room offered.
It is a very well maintained hotel, definitely way more than the standards in US. Nice rooms, lobby. However, the AC was not up to the mark. It was not cooling down beyond a point. We reported to the hotel staff.

Nice pool. Updated
The hotel and room were both very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. We wanted to watch a hockey game and were pleased that there was both a large TV, probably 50? to 60? size and also sports net channel so we?re able to watch game.
The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the staff - they were very helpful despite the absolute chaos of the renovations taking place during our stay

Rooms are very outdated. Wallpaper peeling everywhere in the room but the lobby and lounge area is up to date. Smelt a lot like weed in our hall too and we were in a non smoking room.
This hotel was pretty quiet. I would stay here again, but service could be better.

It was one of the worse experience I have had staying in a hotel. Service was worse. 2 days in a row I asked for the towels and the housekeeping says we don¿t have towels, when they will be ,Staff had smirk on their faces. Please have a vender complain.

Top Tips
- Ontario requires a 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) on nightly hotel rates; this adds about $15–$25 CAD (approx. $11–$18 USD) per night on a $100 CAD booking. Confirm the full room rate with taxes before finalizing your reservation to manage your budget.
- Ride GO Transit’s Lakeshore West line from Oakville to Toronto Union Station; the train takes 25–35 minutes and avoids traffic on the QEW. Check current train schedules for evening and weekend service frequency.
- Allow 30–60+ minutes when driving to Toronto Pearson (YYZ) or downtown Toronto, as heavy QEW and Hwy 403 traffic can impact travel times during rush hour. Use real-time navigation apps for updated routes.
- Many Oakville hotels charge for on-site parking or have limited free spaces; check the parking policy before arrival. Downtown municipal street parking is metered, and overnight options may be limited.
- Tap water in Oakville hotels is safe and regularly tested by Halton Region, meeting Ontario’s provincial standards. Refill your water bottle at the tap to reduce waste and cost.
- Plan to tip 15–20% at restaurants, and give $15 CAD (approx. $11 USD) per bag for bell staff or per night for housekeeping service. Adjust for exceptional service or group bookings.
- Book at least 60 days in advance for summer events or festivals in Oakville. Rates often rise 15–25% for major events, and prices may increase 20–30% during peak spillover weekends from Toronto.
- Downtown Oakville hotels record 1.5 crime incidents per 1,000 residents, supporting 10–15 minute secure walks to the lakeshore. Ask about well-lit walking routes if arriving late or with children.
- Wi-Fi in most Oakville hotels averages 50–100 Mbps, suitable for video conferencing and streaming. Request speed details at check-in, as network performance may decrease during peak evening hours.
- Request step-free access if needed; 80% of Oakville hotels feature ramps or elevators per Ontario’s accessibility standards. Some lakeside and heritage properties may have more stairs, so confirm accessibility before booking.
