This hotel?s location is the most beneficial for anyone who is traveling on a budget. It?s literally steps from the beach, steps from 2 24 hours convenience store as well as a slew of restaurants, and a free bus into old San Juan. Staff is excellent.

The location, the included breakfast and the facilities themselves. I must commend employee Juan - he was very understanding and did attempt to correct an error in my bookings (I ended up getting charged 3X for the rooms).

Not much besides the view
Rooms were huge and the bathrooms beautiful. There's a lot to see and many activities in the surrounding area. There are Uber locations for pickup clearly defined. It's also very convenient - about 20 min drive to SJU.
I didn¿t like anything about this hotel. It was not a good experience.

The patio upstairs and the bar next door...the owner was very nice until we seen our room and requested a refund to go somewhere else. Across the street is a very nice place for 30 percent less! Go THERE not here. Ok if your just popping in for nightlife

Top Tips
- Confirm ADA-accessible or step-free rooms before booking in Old San Juan, as many boutique hotels have stairs with no elevators. Major chains in Condado or Isla Verde typically offer elevators, ADA-compliant rooms, and accessible drop-off areas; request specific access needs during booking or pre-arrival.
- Expect USD billing at all major hotels and businesses; choose USD for chip card transactions to avoid extra fees. Most hotels accept contactless payment; carry small bills for tips - US$1 to US$3 for bellhops or US$2 to US$5 for housekeeping is common.
- Rates and hotel occupancy rise up to 50% near the San Sebastián Street Festival (mid- to late January). Book 2 to 4 months ahead to secure on-property cultural amenities or guided tours, as inventory is limited citywide during event periods.
- Hurricane season spans June to November, with storm disruptions peaking August to October. Opt for refundable rates and trip insurance. Ask your hotel about hurricane preparedness plans or emergency generator access, especially if visiting during these months.
- Request confirmation that your hotel provides whole-building backup power; check which services (e.g., lifts, hot water, medical-device charging) remain available during outages, as smaller properties may only cover partial amenities.
- Condado and Isla Verde provide modern beachfront hotels with step-free sand access and ADA-compliant amenities. Many large hotels also rent accessible beach chairs and feature boardwalks - ask at booking to reserve inclusive facilities.
- Official airport taxi rides from SJU to San Juan hotels cost US$15 to US$21. Ride-hailing apps are also available - confirm pickup locations via app or arrange a hotel shuttle (often available at major chains). Always verify fare estimates before accepting.
- For remote work, confirm wired internet or premium Wi-Fi speed; top hotels can provide business centers or dedicated co-working areas upon request. Ask for a speed test or specify quiet-floor placement for best productivity.
- Tipping mirrors US norms: 15 to 20% for restaurants, US$2 to US$5 for valet or bell service at hotels. Some properties add service charges (10 to 18%) to the bill - always check your receipt to confirm if gratuity is already included.
