Location, Price, cleanliness
Very clean and new. The shower was great, stand in shower with sliding glass door. I liked the breakfast a lot, usually it?s just mediocre eggs and bacon/sausage with no healthier options. The gym was also decent

The hotel was kind of far away.
Room was not cleaned on second day of stay. The dollar price charged per night was very high and one can expect good room service. It was declined suggesting they do only twice a week. The breakfast is not comparable to other hotels.

absolutely our work employees felt unsafe of the location and concern for the health of the disgusting hotel, they did not stay we had to get them a different hotel. The picture on web site looks nothing like the had to put our employee in La Quinta.

Top Tips
- Rates for Midland hotel stays can surge 30-50% during oil and gas industry conferences. Book 3-4 weeks in advance to secure availability and avoid rate spikes, with the largest increases at properties near downtown or the Horseshoe Arena.
- Some downtown hotels near the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center charge daily resort fees between $15 and $25 that may not appear in your initial booking rate. Confirm these fees before completing your reservation to avoid unexpected charges.
- Hotels in West Midland, especially along Loop 250, experience fewer than 2 power outages per year compared to 5 or more on the east side. Prioritize this area for more reliable electricity if you rely on medical devices or remote work.
- Uber and Lyft rides from Midland International Air & Space Port (MAF) to downtown cost $12 to $18 and typically take under 8 minutes to arrive, compared to taxis starting at $35 for the 9-mile trip. Confirm rideshare app availability during late-night hours if arriving after midnight.
- Early shifts for oilfield workers cause significant noise at I-20 motels, especially between 4-5 AM. If you are sensitive to noise, request a ground-floor room away from parking lots or select properties set back from the highway for a quieter night.
- Chain hotels like Hilton and Marriott extend complimentary hot breakfast until 9:30 AM, while many independent properties stop service by 8 AM. Enjoy a more relaxed morning by checking breakfast hours prior to booking.
- Standard hotel Wi-Fi in Midland averages 12 Mbps, with business-floor accommodations reaching 50 Mbps or more. If you require high-speed internet for video calls or critical work, ask about business-floor access when checking in.
- Rooms along Highway 349 near industrial zones often receive guest complaints about odors and night truck noise from fracking activity. Prefer locations further from heavy industry for a more comfortable and restful stay.
