Everyone was so sweet & kind. I loved watching the town wake up in the front lobby while I sipped my coffee. Then having breakfast next door was LOVELY. I want the recipe for their biscuits!

Top Tips
- Book hotel rooms in Westerly, Rhode Island 6-8 weeks in advance for July-August weekends. Luxury properties like Ocean House often fill first during holiday and summer periods. For better options, compare flexible and non-flexible rates with cancellation terms before booking.
- Select your Westerly neighborhood based on interest: Watch Hill features walkable shopping and dining but higher nightly rates, Misquamicut provides beach access and paid parking close to the shore, and Downtown Westerly offers train access and a variety of restaurants. Confirm amenities in each area to match your preferences.
- Many Westerly hotels have limited onsite parking or charge seasonal parking and day-use fees at nearby beaches. Ask your hotel about private lot availability and current daily rates - this can help avoid public beach parking fees that average $15 to $30 per day.
- The Westerly Amtrak station is under 0.5 mi from several downtown hotels, allowing a car-light stay. Check your hotel's property map for exact walking distance to avoid last-mile transportation surprises.
- Historic inns in Westerly may lack step-free access and elevators. Before booking, request a ground-floor or accessible room and confirm door, hallway, and elevator widths suit mobility equipment, as some buildings have narrow Victorian-era stairs.
- Rhode Island public beaches restrict dogs from Memorial Day to Labor Day; hotels differ on pet policies and fees. Always request written confirmation of pet terms, including extra charges and size restrictions.
- Summer weekends in Watch Hill and downtown Westerly draw late-night crowds near bars and restaurants. For a quieter stay, choose rooms facing inland or on higher floors, and confirm availability directly with your hotel.
- Not all Westerly hotels guarantee strong Wi-Fi, and some inns provide only basic connections. If remote work is required, request measured upload/download speeds or Ethernet/wired access details to ensure reliable VPN or video meetings.
- Hotel rates in Westerly rise during local summer events, weekends, and holidays. For best pricing, compare rates for weekday stays (Monday-Thursday), which often run 20-30% lower than weekends and holidays. Ask hotels for event-specific rate details.
