My children enjoyed the pool very much, it was nice that the water was warm. Didnt look sanitary though.
We did not stay here after we saw the condition of the filthy rooms. Thank goodness we were able to get other accommodations.
The bowling alley was cool and was in the hotel and the hotel was near the baseball field, which is why we went. Store and food places very close by, which was also nice.

Very convenient commute to the baseball hall of fame, which is just across town. Although it?s a small town, also continently located near food establishments in the area.
Very clean room, lobby, stairwell, linens, bathroom
This hotel was very clean, beds comfortable, nice fridge and microwave and television set and was located a short trip away from the baseball Hall of Fame. There is a convenient plaza nearby with a grocery store and a McDonald's.

Totally unique. I greatly enjoyed seeing the room in which President John F. Kennedy visited. I've only listed minor issues below. Bottom line is I would stay here again.

Top Tips
- Secure your room 4-8 weeks in advance for major events such as the Schoharie County Fair (late July) or SUNY Cobleskill activities, as local hotels and smaller inns often reach capacity quickly during those dates. Confirm your reservation as soon as event dates are published to avoid last-minute shortages.
- Choose a national brand, such as Hampton Inn Cobleskill, if you want consistent amenities and Hilton Honors points. Enjoy reliable daily breakfast options and documented cleaning standards; ask about digital check-in, accessible rooms, or other specific features during booking.
- Most Cobleskill hotels and inns provide free on-site parking. For RVs, trailers, or oversized vehicles, call the hotel before booking to confirm dedicated parking and clearance requirements, as policies vary.
- Upstate New York winter driving (November-March) can add 30-45 minutes to your travel time. Check the hotel's snow removal policy in advance, and use 511ny.org for updated road conditions before departure.
- If you have mobility needs, request a ground-floor room or confirm elevator access before arrival. Several Cobleskill inns are 2-3 stories without elevators, so ask directly about accessible features, ramp access, and visual alarms if required.
- If attending events at the fairgrounds, request a room on the side of the hotel away from the Schoharie County Fair area. Noise from fairground events may last past 10 PM, so ask the front desk for the quietest available room.
- Full-service restaurants in Cobleskill typically close by 9-10 PM on weekdays, and late-night dining is limited. Bring non-perishable snacks or check if your hotel has a 24-hour market, vending machines, or room service for late arrivals.
- Confirm Wi-Fi speed and available business spaces with your hotel if remote work is essential. Independent inns vary in quality; request a recent Wi-Fi speed test (at least 25 Mbps for video calls), or select a national chain if you need reliability.
