We have been going to Jekyll Island since we were kids and love Driftwood Beach. You are less than 100 yards from there in the room we stayed. We also love the restaurant on site (Driftwood Bistro) Great food. Get there early or there is a big wait.

The staff was very helpful. At first we got a room with no couch. We had five people and read online that every room came with a couch. They kindly moved us to a different room and sanitized the first room for the next people.
We were traveling from NC to Fl and needed a midway overnight. All the usual chain hotels were okay, but for the money, this hotel offered the most value to us since we are used to satying at 4 and 5 star properties.
