The location of this hotel is great given the price. Literally just a quick walk across the street to get to the beach. Also the breakfast included is great. We had fresh made omelets every day, avocado toast, etc. Plus complimentary evening cocktails.

As first the hotel looks new, all is mainly clean, functional and nothing damage. For the hotel i want to say, very very well.
The location was great.
Something borrowed! Also, hotel employee, who oversaw breakfast every day worked hard to keep things stocked for the mad dash that swarmed the buffet every morning, and on slower days he was incredible present, kind, and hospitable. He is truly a light.

Beach access You get what you pay for. FACT
The location is great and the beachfront. Warning after the pool is close they also close the access to the beach. You have to go beside the parking for the public access. Sheets was still in the pull out couch. Toilet was clogged & asked to move a room.

The best thing about this location would be the location. My suite was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was amazing! I love the fact that it had a pool next to a basketball court (half court).

How close it is to the beach, and the ability to rent umbrellas and chairs that are set up and taken down for you.
The room was affordable. The view was beautiful. The pool area was clean and the beach was beautiful.
There was nothing best to like about it. Based on the description it did not meet my expectations at all. When a room is this expensive, you should get your money’s worth. This is absolutely the worst money I ever spent on a hotel.

The cleanliness of the hotel.
Front desk staff was the best. The continental breakfast was more than expected; Coffee up front at all hours - very nice. The lady that set up the breakfast and did the clean up afterwards was worth noting.

Top Tips
- Reserve your hotel at least 2-4 months in advance for peak season (March-April for spring break, June-August for summer). Beachfront hotels in Panama City Beach regularly sell out during these times, and early bookings can save up to 20% compared to last-minute rates.
- Request the total nightly cost, including resort fees, mandatory parking (often $15-$30 per day), and 12%-13% local occupancy tax, before confirming your booking. Line-item verification by phone or the hotel's website avoids surprise charges at check-in.
- Select your hotel based on trip style. Families often prefer quieter stretches near St. Andrews State Park, while nightlife seekers may choose the Pier Park area or Front Beach Road, as these neighborhoods can be louder at night and are within 1 mile of major clubs and bars.
- Verify your direct beach access before booking. Some condos restrict beach entrances to guests, while hotels may offer private boardwalks or public access within 200-400 meters. Ask reception to clarify your route to the beach.
- Expect onsite parking fees at many hotels (typically $15-$30 per day) and potential delays from rideshares during peak beach hours. Renting a car typically saves 15%-30% on total transportation time and offers easier access to State Park and west-end venues 6-8 miles away.
- Bring a government-issued photo ID and the payment card used to reserve your room. Many hotels require all adult guests (21+) to provide ID at check-in; if your reservation includes adults under 21, confirm the hotel's age policies before arrival.
- Tip bell staff $1-$5 per bag and housekeeping $2-$5 per night; local custom is to leave tips daily. Check the hotel's policy, as some large chains include gratuities in the final bill.
- Hotel Wi-Fi is typically included, but speeds and reliability vary. If you need fast internet or a quiet workspace, request a room near the business center or ask about dedicated business floors, and confirm hours for printing or scanning before arrival.
- If visiting June-November, note it is hurricane season. Check refund policies and consider travel insurance, as local hotels may close or evacuate with 24-48 hours' notice. Monitor NOAA weather alerts before and during your trip.
- Use the in-room safe for passports, electronics, and large amounts of cash. Beach theft does occur, so never leave unattended belongings; some hotels offer paid beach locker rentals for added security.
- Familiarize yourself with local beach safety. Obey all flag warnings related to rip currents and swim only during posted lifeguard hours. Know your hotel's address and nearest hospital location (Panama City Beach Medical Center is 3.5 miles from Pier Park).
- Call ahead to confirm pet policies and available accessible rooms with step-free and ramp access. Hotels often limit dogs to under 50 lbs and add pet fees of $15-$75 per night; accessible room availability is limited, so request early.
- Contact the hotel before arrival if you need connected rooms, cribs, late check-in, or special diets. Follow up by phone the day prior for time-sensitive requests, as many amenities, especially cribs or cots, are limited and distributed first-come, first-served.
- Pool, gym, and amenity hours may be limited, and some properties require wristbands or timed entry. Expect specific hours (for example, 08:00-22:00 for pools) and reservation systems during busy periods. Confirm details during check-in to avoid missed access.
- Book flexible or refundable room rates when possible, especially if travel plans are uncertain. Most Panama City Beach hotels let you cancel without penalty up to 24-72 hours before check-in, so verify the deadline for your reservation.
- Explore Gulf Coast specialties like shrimp, oysters, and blue crab found within 2 miles of most hotels. Ask front desk staff for recommended local restaurants beyond the tourist strip. Most establishments are casual, but check if reservations or smart casual attire are needed for fine dining venues.
