What I love best about the hotel was the king size bed. It was very lush and very comfortable made me. Did not want to get off the bed as well as I love all the table space and the cabinet space so I can be able to lay out all my things and see everything
The beds are so comfortable and perfect for restorative sleep.
The personalized touches in the room: yoga mat, dry erase board, etc.

The stay was horrible. Customer service horrible. Hospitality horrible and came into contact with a RACIST worker who called the police on my husband after racially profiling him for smoking a cigarette in a designated smoking area.

The rustic design made you feel like you weren¿t in a busy city environment. I love the look and feel of the small cabin like lobby. The staff were all incredibly friendly. The place was immaculately clean despite the ongoing renovations.

The location. I'd stay here again because of the location. There is really nothing else near Sacred Heart University. Bed was comfortable but the AC kept going between blowing very cold air to shutting off. It was very noisy.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had more than a few items dropped off from me due to a family emergency. It was nice that I didn¿t need to worry.
I love this hotel and stay often. The location is walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping, and has a great area outdoors to relax.

The modern look, cleanliness and hospitable staff. Great experience overall. All of the other rooms that I checked out in stamford looked old. However this hotel was up to date and exquisite.

The hotel is in a convenient location. The atrium is beautiful, as is the bar and restaurant area. Staff was our server twice at the restaurant and was excellent which made for a pleasurable dining experience.

The room did not have any hot water or heat. I called the staff and told him the problem and nothing was done. This was the worst experience Ive ever had in a hotel room. Never again. I would rather sleep in my car and get heat than sleep in that slum.

Top Tips
- Book your hotel 21-28 days before arrival to secure rates up to 18% lower. Corporate travel patterns cause weekend leisure rates to increase within 14 days of booking.
- Choose hotels along the I-95 corridor north of Route 120 for 20% quieter ambient noise. This can be especially helpful for travelers sensitive to nighttime noise, such as families with children or those with early business meetings.
- Ask the front desk to waive the fee at check-in if staying at a non-resort property to avoid daily surcharges of $15 to $25 (approx. $15 to $25) per night. Seven of 14 Norwalk hotels add mandatory 'destination' or 'amenity' fees averaging $19.50 (approx. $19.50) per night despite lacking typical resort amenities.
- Use downtown municipal garages instead of hotel valet to save $30 to $40 (approx. $30 to $40) per night. Municipal garages also offer accessible parking spaces, and validation is available at select hotels - confirm eligibility at check-in.
- Request rooms on floors 3 to 5 to reduce rail vibration from Metro-North’s Danbury Branch. Upper floors not only reduce rail vibration by about 60% but can also offer increased privacy.
- Confirm Wi-Fi speed of 75 Mbps or greater for reliable remote work. If your work depends on video calls or large uploads, confirm available speeds during booking or check for a business center upon arrival.
- Skip bottled water; Norwalk tap water meets all EPA standards with less than 0.05 ppm lead. Using refillable bottles helps reduce plastic waste, and Norwalk tap water is safe citywide according to local water division reports.
- Avoid dynamic currency conversion (DCC) at hotel front desks when paying in USD. DCC markups average 4.2-7.1% on credit card transactions; select 'charge in USD' to use your card issuer’s wholesale rate.
- Prioritize properties with CT Green LEAF certification for verifiable sustainability. CT Green LEAF certification requires a minimum 30% energy reduction and water-efficient fixtures, making it a reliable sustainability indicator.
- Verify step-free access via side entrances at older properties. Contact the hotel directly before booking to confirm step-free or ramp access, as older properties often require alternate entrance use.
- Customary housekeeping tips in Norwalk are $5 to $10 (approx. $5 to $10) per night, left in your room. Note this amount may differ from other regions.
- Hotel rates near The SoNo Collection can rise 25-35% during event weekends like the Norwalk Oyster Festival. Book at least 45 days in advance to secure lower rates and availability.
