The breakfast was excellent
The staff was very accommodating and excellent. I called early to request a room on the 4th floor and the staff was excellent about granting my request. They were friendly and kind.
This is probably the nicest hotel in Fort Morgan. It is right off the interstate, so it's fairly easy to get too, but there is also slight road noise from the outside. I've stayed in different rooms and the noise isn't noticeably from inside the room.

The breakfast was great the room was clean and it's right off the highway.
So clean and real food for breakfast. The other thing that is great is that it is next to a walking path and pond so we were able to walk our dog safely.
I had left some protein drinks in the refrigerator in our room. I called them and they said they would leave them at the front desk for pickup. Everyone was very friendly. We loved the walk-in shower. The beds are some of the best I've slept in a hotel.

Top Tips
- Book hotels 2-3 months in advance for summer (June-August) or local events like the July Morgan County Fair; prices can increase by 15 to 25% due to demand, with typical rates rising to $80-$120 per night.
- Opt for hotels offering complimentary breakfast like Hampton Inn or Comfort Inn, potentially saving $15 per person daily given the area's limited dining options.
- Verify Wi-Fi speeds with your hotel if remote work is critical; rural hotel Wi-Fi averages 10-30 Mbps and may drop below 10 Mbps during evenings due to limited local fiber infrastructure.
- Account for lodging taxes totaling 10 to 15% state tax plus 2 to 3% local fees in Morgan County, adding $15 extra per night on a $100 base rate; use tax-inclusive filters on booking sites for accurate budgeting.
- Prepare for winter temperatures ranging from -10°F to 20°F (approx. -23°C to -7°C) from December to February; select hotels with documented heating reliability, as 10 to 20% report outages during storms.
- Minimize ATM withdrawal fees averaging $3-$5 per transaction in Fort Morgan by using in-network bank ATMs or credit cards for payments to avoid additional surcharges.
- Inquire about hotel-specific discounts for seniors, military personnel, or AAA members at booking, as many local hotels offer these savings.
- Confirm pet policies before arrival; many hotels charge a $15 per night pet fee, with some requiring an additional deposit.
- Expect complimentary parking at most Fort Morgan hotels, saving $15 daily compared to urban areas.
