Friendly staff!! Clean big room
Most comfortable bed on our 2 week road trip. Great lighting, unlike many hotels which usually have only a low wattage lamp on each side of the bed. Laundry facilities. Sal, the front desk guy was so helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking.
LOCATION - BEACH WALKING DISTANCE, ALSO AWAY FROM CROWDS AND TRAFFIC.

Quiet. Excellent food both in dining room and room service; fresh fruits and veggies. Our room was beautifully decorated and bedding was perfect. Rain curbed our outdoor activities. Appreciated EV charging, especially for Tesla.

Extremely charming boutique hotel with gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. Interior design is beautiful if a bit overwhelming with all its Moroccan inspired patterns. Service is excellent with a very nice little customized breakfast for each guest.

Location. Right on PCH. Classic, retro charm. The partial ocean view suite was like a large studio apartment w a closed bedroom.

Top Tips
- Reserve your hotel 60-90 days ahead during Laguna Beach’s Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters (late June to mid-August). Hotel rooms sell out quickly on performance nights. For updates on performance schedules and local restrictions, check the official event site before booking.
- Select hotels on Ocean Avenue or within two blocks of Main Beach to minimize daily parking stress. These locations are a 5 to 15 minute walk from major beaches and shops. Ask at booking if in/out privileges are available on hotel parking.
- Confirm on-site parking availability and all related fees before booking, as many downtown hotels offer limited onsite or paid valet-only parking, which can add $30-60 nightly. Request written confirmation for any special parking arrangements, especially if arriving with oversized vehicles.
- If step-free access is required, contact your hotel to request elevator or ground-floor rooms, as many older boutique inns in Laguna Beach only offer stair access. Specify additional accessibility needs, such as visual alarms or accessible bathrooms, when booking.
- Staying in South Laguna (Victoria or Thousand Steps area) offers quieter beaches and local parks, but expect a 6 to 15 minute drive or 15 to 25 minute walk to reach Laguna’s main dining and gallery district. Check for public transit or hotel shuttle options if you prefer not to drive.
- Weekend and summer check-ins face higher demand and street noise. For quieter rest or early departures, request a room on a higher floor away from Ocean Avenue or main entrances when booking.
- Verify pet policies and fees before booking, as many Laguna Beach hotels accept pets but non-refundable charges and weight or number limits are common. Request a written summary of pet rules to avoid surprises at check-in.
- Laguna Beach tap water is municipally treated. If you are sensitive to taste or allergens, request in-room filtered or bottled water from the front desk for your stay.
