The breakfast was great before a long day of travel. And we appreciated being able to bring our dog along. But we were not told about the deposit when booking the room. That should be clear before arriving.

The cleanliness of the room, that's about it! Our air conditioning unit blew out at 3am and sounded like a bomb went off, our kids woke up scared. I notified the front desk and when we came back from breakfast we had a note on the door from maintenance

It's a Marriott timeshare property - quality. Units have all been renovated and guest suite features mini kitchen...just perfect amount of space. All have patios or balconies. Excellent amenities.
The accommodations were lovely and the kitchen was well furnished. Check in was easy and we didn't have to run the timeshare gauntlet. It was great having our own washer and dryer, and dishwasher.

So good. Love the area, details, huge room.
Resort was great. They had bikes for rent, a movie theater, plenty of pools, a full equipped kitchen. The only thing I wasnt crazy about is their cable/movie options. Their tv doesnt allow you to log in/utilize Netflix or apps. Overall loved my stay.
We really didn't like anything about this hotel.

Top Tips
- Book 2-4 months ahead for the BNP Paribas Open in March, as hotel inventory commonly sells out, with many properties enforcing 3-night minimums and public rates often more than doubling during tournament week. Elite rewards members may have priority or flexible cancellation during events, so use loyalty channels to secure inventory or price guarantees.
- Expect summer daytime highs of about 100-115°F (38-46°C) from June through September; verify working air conditioning, pool or shade hours, and late check-in options. Ask about climate-controlled common areas or hydration stations for extreme heat, and if you have medical sensitivities, request emergency support or specific room placement.
- Palm Springs Airport (PSP) offers the fastest access, with drive times of 20-30 minutes to Indian Wells. Public transit is limited for last-mile connections, so confirm hotel shuttle availability or prebook rideshare/taxi ($30-$60 USD one way); check if loyalty programs offer airport transfer credits or discounts, and ask about accessible vehicle services if needed.
- Most major properties charge resort fees and for parking; confirm the hotel's nightly resort fee (typically $25-$50 USD) and whether parking (self or valet) is included when calculating your total nightly cost. Ask if resort fees cover amenities like gym, spa credits, or daily beverage service, and check if waivers apply for some guests or unused services.
- Plan for meals and urgent shopping, as non-resort options are limited within the city. Most groceries, pharmacies, and a wider restaurant selection are in nearby La Quinta or Palm Desert (5-15 minute drive). Some hotels may offer delivery partnerships, on-site markets, mobile ordering, or in-room dining for late arrivals.
- Noise can come from resort events or early golf groups, so request specific room locations (such as away from pools, lawns, or golf start holes) in writing about 1-2 weeks ahead. Ask about soundproofed rooms or request accessible, quiet floors, and see if the property lets you indicate preferences via digital check-in or app.
- Water conservation is common, with towel and linen reuse programs and less frequent landscape irrigation. Participate in reusable programs for possible loyalty benefits, and request documented medical exceptions if needed in advance. Most hotels offer extra water bottles for purchase or on request due to the desert climate.
- To work remotely, verify Wi-Fi speed and workspace details before arrival. Ask for measured upload/download speeds or a guaranteed business package, seek rooms with ergonomic setups or suites with business amenities, and confirm premium bandwidth or wired Ethernet if you require video conferencing.
