Location to London Bridge
We thought the silver hair lady at the reception desk was very helpful. The owner couldn't even give her or us the time of day. No stopper in the sink, the toilet doesn't have stoppers on it when put down the seat, and so much more. We got no sleep.

Top Tips
- July daytime highs can reach 113°F (45°C). Confirm your room has working AC before arrival, and consider booking a ground-floor or pool-access room for easier cooling. If mobility is a concern, request step-free access, ramp access, or visual alarms, and ask about shaded pool or lounge areas for relief during the hottest hours.
- Boating season peaks from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with demand highest on holiday weekends. Reserve at least 30-60 days ahead, as top room types at major hotels fill quickly for Memorial Day and July 4. For stays during local events, like the Lake Havasu Balloon Festival, ask about lake or fireworks views and check if your rate includes cancellation flexibility.
- Lake Havasu City attracts winter visitors December through February, so book your stay 30-60 days in advance for the best selection, especially for extended stays. Ask about extended-stay rates, suites, in-room kitchenettes, or guest laundry if planning a longer visit.
- If bringing a boat or trailer, confirm marina slip or trailer parking options in writing before arrival. Downtown hotels may not have dedicated storage, so call the property directly, request written confirmation, and ask about overnight security, proximity to entrances, and whether the hotel partners with nearby marinas.
- Lake Havasu City Airport (HII) has limited commercial flights. For broader flight options, fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) or Las Vegas (LAS) and drive 2.5-4 hours. Major hotels may partner with rental car agencies at the airport—ask about bundled deals and confirm if shuttle service is available, especially around holiday weekends when highway travel times can increase.
- Monsoon storms are possible from June to September, occasionally causing brief power or Wi-Fi outages. Pack a power bank, and ask the front desk about backup power or AC reliability, especially if using medical devices or working remotely. On arrival, check severe weather alerts and ask whether in-room emergency lighting or a flashlight is provided.
- Rooms near the London Bridge or Bridgewater Channel offer easy access to restaurants and boat rentals but can be noisier on summer or event weekends. For a quieter stay, consider west lakeshore properties farther from downtown. If sensitive to noise, request a room away from the main street, and if accessibility is needed, ask about elevator locations or step-free routes to amenities.
- Not all hotels offer private dockage or marina access. If you need to refuel or maintain your boat or jet ski, confirm available services and secure written confirmation for any marina slip or dock access. Bring a printed copy, as cell signal along the lake can vary, and consider hotels or brands known for on-site marina partnerships.
- Free Wi-Fi is standard at most hotels, but connection speeds can vary. If you plan to work remotely or stream video, request measured download and upload speeds and ask about business floors or suites with faster service. If reliability is essential, request an ethernet cable or access to the business center.
- Driving is the most practical way to reach marinas, trailheads, and lakeside beaches, since public transit is limited. Car rentals are available at major airports and some downtown locations—book early for best availability during peak periods. Accessible vehicle rentals, step-free entry, hand controls, hotel parking costs, and EV charging should be confirmed in advance if needed.
