Family-run since 1906, Hotel Lokomotive is in the immediate vicinity of the main train station of Linz. It offers comfortable rooms and a rich breakfast buffet. The nearby city center can be reached by public transport in about 10 minutes. The “Zentrum” motorway exit is close by.

Pros +

the location the given room was quite
The choice at buffet breakfast was varied and the lady working to prepare everything was very efficient. Also, the breakfast opened early : 6h30. I was very happy with this. It is situated in a street very close to the train station. I just had to cross the street. Also there is a lokomotive on top of the builing so it is easy to spot.

Cons -

the breakfast was okay but limited options
I like to protect the environment and I don't need my towels to be washed every day. I had to put the no disturb sign so the ladies would not change the towels. They propably don't know that there is a sign saying : if the towels are on the rack, it means that you don't want them to be changed.
