This hotel lies in the village of Valwig, along the banks of the River Moselle, 2.5 miles from Cochem. Renovated in 2020/2021, it offers modern accommodations with scenic countryside views. The rooms of the Hotel Restaurant Zum Valwiger Herrenberg are spacious and tastefully furnished. After a peaceful night, the delicious, complimentary breakfast buffet will tempt you from your room, providing a great start to an enjoyable day spent exploring your surroundings. Let the Valwiger Herrenberg's in-house patisserie spoil you with delightful cakes and pastries throughout the day. The restaurant serves excellent, fresh dishes, fine local wines and freshly tapped beer, which you can enjoy outside on the terrace in fine weather. Those traveling by car will appreciate the free parking available, and the hotel also has a garage for motorbikes.

Pros +
- Hotel was in a nice location across the street from the river. Only thing that was correct in the description.
- Good breakfast, friendly staff and perfect location.
Cons -
- Greeting by the owner was a first, "you need to pay in cash for the room". Good thing I only stayed the one night! Bathroom maintenance is required because the fan screamed every time the light was turned on and a quick shower flooded the shower stall. Mattress definitely needs replacing. Won't go back.
- Poor quality beds and pillows.
