Pros +

  • Atmosphere
  • Location and view I was there to use the spa which was excellent and their services were amazing. The history and Great Hall are huge pluses as well
  • Its charm aNd character. The lobby area was warm.and welcoming .

Cons -

  • The hot water didn?t work properly. Valet was slow.
  • The rooms are okay but rather rustic and in need of updating. I expect a luxury hotel to have nicer rooms and the value wasn¿t there. Finally, I got food poisoning or a stomach bug from one of the restaurants. I ate all my meals at the Inn.
  • The resturant food was average. And the buffet breakfast very expensive. Should be included with cost of stay.

The spa treatment staff were great!
The rooms were dingy and outdated. The mattresses were awful. The carpet was stained and ragged. I would never stay here again and I would not recommend.
