The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa

The location, history and the amazing spa. Great customer service. I received two emails from the hotel management after I checked out to make sure my stay was satisfactory. That shows me they care about their guests

I feel the rooms were somewhat outdated. Also, it’s important to book spa appointments as soon as possible because they book up quickly. I feel the hotel should inform guests of this. I suggested this when I responded to the follow up emails.

Location and view I was there to use the spa which was excellent and their services were amazing. The history and Great Hall are huge pluses as well

The rooms are okay but rather rustic and in need of updating. I expect a luxury hotel to have nicer rooms and the value wasn¿t there. Finally, I got food poisoning or a stomach bug from one of the restaurants. I ate all my meals at the Inn.

Its charm aNd character. The lobby area was warm.and welcoming .

The resturant food was average. And the buffet breakfast very expensive. Should be included with cost of stay.

The spa treatment staff were great!

The rooms were dingy and outdated. The mattresses were awful. The carpet was stained and ragged. I would never stay here again and I would not recommend.

The service was top notch; Everyone was friendly and accommodating. A truly awesome experience.

The room walls are thin; We could hear conversations held by guests on either side of us. We could actually hear one opening a pop can open.

The character of the structure, ambiance & views. The staff was exceptional. The lobby with music at night made you Relax & enjoy the fire.

I was very disappointed in the classic room for $--- a night. My windows faced a building wall. The toilet tissue & bath towels were what you would expect at a Lower rate hotel. I¿ve been in the old section before so I was disappointed over all with room

Amazing history and wonderful Christmas atmosphere.

Original section of resort rooms are a bit disappointing compared to everything else at resort. I understand maintaining the history/style but for instance the ceiling tiles in the bathroom where like commercial ceiling tiles... could be much improvement

Location was fantastic, the food was incredible!

The furniture really needs to be updated in the king bedroom, although it was comfortable. WiFi was a problem, my husband needed to attend a zoom meeting 20 minutes after we checked out, only to find out it wasn¿t available to him anymore, even to pay .

The spa was amazing. So were the staff. I also loved the view of the mountains.

I did not like the fact that there were absolutely no dining reservations for the entire duration I stayed there.

The view from the back terrace of the hotel. People were showing up there for the sunset, and they werent even staying at the hotel. The staff was also exceptional.

Make sure your room is in the ¿main inn¿. They tried to upgrade us to a modern room in the vanderbilt wing, but it honestly looked like any other average hotel room. Main inn was really historic, and were glad they moved us back.

4 PM checkin and 11 AM checkout

We stayed twice with 2 different experiences. The first stay we were in the new wing, with beautiful views, nice room, and comfy linens. The grounds were beautiful & the people appeared to go above and beyond to help. First stay was great.

Our second stay was in the old wing with windows that faced a building approx. 20 feet away. The room was original, which could have been neat but it just appeared drab and meh. The linens were scratchy, service was ok. Not sure the hotel is worth cost.

The ambiance, history, customer service are bar none. Beautiful setting in the mountains of Asheville with a ton of amenities and fabulous restaurants. Enjoyed Elaine's Piano Bar....lots of fun.

Everything met our expectations and we loved every minute of our stay.

Historical significance & overall character.

As a lifelong customer of The Grove Park Inn I observed that the facilities have become "tired." Maintaining the historical / rustic elegance is important, but the main lodge has lost it's luster and elegance. The lodge now appears dark, dingy, and dated.

The location and beautiful vistas

I felt the charges were much too steep for the quality of the experience offered. Several items of a meal I had the restaurant there were over-seasoned, or nearly tasteless, despite being priced as though it were a four-star restaurant. Disappointing...

The location was great. Staff was accommodating as they could be.

Rooms are dated and musty. Mountain view rooms are not really that. The first night we have a barking service dog and a couple who partied until 2:30am. Food was average to poor especially the seafood tower that had stale and old. Inedible.
