Hampton Inn By Hilton South Kingstown - Newport Area

Very clean and modern and very nice staff!

Location was convenient to the beach and within a common with several places to dine.Room was large and comfortable. Swimming pool was lovely. Greeted very cordially by all on the staff.

Breakfast could have been better. But was adequate.

Hotel staff great. Beds were comfortable. The room itself was very comfortable.

Specifically for room 106: there was a slight mildew smell present for our entire stay. Rules should be instated for other guests to be quiet after a reasonable time such as 9 pm. We could not sleep until after 11 pm as people were running around in the hallway and room above us. We could not call the front desk to complain because the phone landline was down and we were already in bedclothes.

In a great location with so much near by

Mold in the room(the wall and ceiling in a corner and the ring around the bath tub, falsely advertised hot tub as there is NONE, very dirty pool with dirt wads of hair and false nails, I left the do not disturb sign on my door and when I arrived from an outing for the day housekeeper had gone in and taken out towels and restocked. Any concern brought to the staff members and they just said they would notify someone. Breakfast was ok, hot foods(eggs, potatoes, and sausage) were not really edible.
