The Centennial Hotel Spokane

Room smelled like mold, blood on pillow case, clogged shower head with poor pressure. Could even hear staff telling maids to "get your rooms finished asap at all costs" and staff was generally uncaring, lacking any hospitality from the start.

Location, Clean, and Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful.

Housekeeping left early and didn't clean our room as requested. We had to go hunt down clean towels. Also, the hotel restaurant staff was grumpy and did not check on us after food was delivered.

We normally love staying here but were disappointed in the service this time and that I was double charged in the restaurant and can’t get it resolved no call backs

The outlets in the room turn work and if the bed was against the wall the lights and outlets didn’t work they had to come fix two nights in a row they never cleaned the room and the mirrors be hind the bed was all dirty at check in .

Hotel employee was friendly and helpful

Parking. I stayed here due to the fires, and you created a fire hazard by backing up traffic AND preventing people from leaving due to your outdated, broken, and unsupervised 'toll booths'

It was nice.

I booked a double bed, and got one single king bed. I had 4 people in my party, and I told the person who checked me in. He didn’t offer a cot, blow up mattress, nothing. It was apparently the last room left. For the room being $---, highly upset.

Always clean and staff always friendly.

I do NOT like paying for parking.

Sometimes at night, I could hear people talking, maybe down in the lobby (?), and I was on the 4th floor.

Not clean; yellow stands on bedding; there was an overflowing large bag of garbage in the hall for almost a full day. Dying plants; slight order throughout One person was working the desk in a Friday right after check-in time started.…

Manager and front desk people were very helpful and kind. Beds are comfortable. The pool is great for kids. Location is so convenient.

The 5th floor hallway smelled like stinky old man the whole time we were there. Our room smelled great though.

Price, cleanliness, location on the river.

Beautiful upgrades since the last visit several years back. The whole hotel looks fabulous even the ground. Location was great. Check in was easy with very friendly staff. Parking felt safe.

Paying extra for parking.

The staff. Always kind and helpful, other than the new front desk worker that was a little difficult while checking in. The restaurant staff and every other employee went above and beyond to help make my stay easier.

The employee that was helping me check in was a little rude, he might have had a hard morning/delt with a difficult customer prior to my check in. Also the key cards stopped working by the time we were checking out, which made checkout difficult.

The view, the pool, the nice front desk man

Location was very convenient to walk to a lot of different areas and see a lot of sites. The staff was very nice and very accommodating except for housekeeping.

Unfortunately left out in the hallway near the elevator for almost 3 days before it was ever picked up. Voicemai only for housekeeping. many times they did not provide what we asked for. The bathroom shower had no niche in it put any supplies in.

Bed was awful lumpy. Very uncomfortable. Stayed at this hotel many times bed was great before???

Great Customer Service

The additional $20.00 fee per day for the use of the Pool & Water. We never used the Pool nor did we drink the water. Also the additional $50.00 per day charge for incendentials. Which should have been expressed prior to booking.

The Centennial's location is perfect, and it's clean/modern.

The first room I was put in (facing the lobby, right above the main entrance door) was too loud, and the door did not do much to muffle the lobby noise.

Quiet and accessible to downtown

The poo stain on the sheet and never got a replacement after calling the front desk. We stripped the bed and just slept on the mattress
