This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in a longtime. Beautiful surroundings and just the right distance from Tampa. Also had a restaurant so we didn’t have to leave if we didn’t want to. Can’t go wrong with Hilton and the price was on target.

Great location and room was clean.
Under construction, staff not very friendly, extra charge for everything including a bottle of water in the room, and bed was uncomfortable. Not what I expected from the Hilton Brand.

Room was clean and neat. Keurig was a blessing. TV was good. Bed was clean and relatively comfortable. Pillows were good. No odors on bed.
Odor of perfumed cleaner was overwhelming. Bathtub had been painted and paint was peeling. Sink faucet was broken off sink. Ice maker on floor was broken - had to go to another floor for ice. Water pressure in shower was inadequate.

The room was spacious and clean. The AC was responsive and comfortable
Inattentive staff, asked for towels and they were never brought up. Offer said continental breakfast was included but in fact was not. Front of the building was closed and under construction. Facility was dated and worn. Hallways smelled like feet. The blinds did not close to shut out the light.

The rooms were comfy, the bed was fine, the Air Conditioning was great, and the room amenities were good. The staff was all very nice, personable, and professional. They made us feel very comfortable! The area is beautiful and is a great location for any events at the MidFlorida CU Amphitheater. The grounds are well-maintained and inviting. I didn't see any trash lying around, broken items, or disarray, so it was evident that the staff cared about doing a good job. The hotel is a bit dated, and the carpets probably should be deep cleaned, but they weren't excessively dirty and nothing was undermaintained.
The internet was down in the entire hotel (not the WiFi, but the internet connection). After the 2nd day, I asked if there was an ETA to get it fixed and was told no. I then asked if there was any way to get kitchen vouchers or something to compensate and was told that they weren't offering compensation since it wasn't the hotel's fault (it was Spectrum's). The staff were all understanding, but I do take issue with this situation. I am an HH Gold member and specifically, go out of my way sometimes to stay in Hilton group hotels. I do this because amenities, quality, and consistency are important to me. WiFi/Internet access (free for HH members) is a staple for me when I travel. This is especially important for me as I work remotely, and even when on vacation I am doing research on the things we're doing at the hotel. I had to use my phone's data as a hotspot (100% of my cost). With that in mind, while I understand that the hotel and staff had no control of the situation, internet access is a basic and relied upon amenity at Hilton Hotels. It certainly wasn't my, or any other guests', fault either. Therefore, some sort of compensation (or at least an attempt) should have been offered. A few free drinks or breakfast would have gone a long way to earning back my satisfaction. To that point, the food was ok, not good, but ok. It wasn't the cook's fault, just frozen/packaged food. For the premium paid for the food, the quality was disappointing. Finally, while the room was fine, the toilet was wobbly and needs to be "seated" (probably with a new wax seal). I didn't mention this to anyone, so I only bring it up as a small thing that should be looked into. I won't say this was a horrible hotel because it wasn't. It was perfectly fine, but I don't think "Fine" is something that Hilton Hotels strives for. If I wanted "fine" I'd go to a cheaper hotel chain...
