Hotel Ponte Sisto

Location is excellent for food, drink, walking to sights, single seat bus ride to Vatican, right next to the river. Staff was helpful. Grounds were charming. Room was simple but we'll appointed.

Best possible location to walk to all the sites in Rome. Huge American style breakfast.

There were Birds in the breakfast courtyard that landed on your plate of not guarded.

The complimentary breakfast saved us time and money trying to find food before travelling around Rome.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was excellent apart from having to listen to a very squeaky trolly. The bedroom and housekeeping were both quite good.

The staff need a good training in hospitality. There was no welcome from anyone and on leaving no one asked if we had a good stay. I would call the service "robotic". We had to witness a verbal fight between the doorman and another member of staff.

Everyone was very pleasant

My only problem was that an order of hot tea on the roof top was 15 euro , a bit expensive !

The breakfast in the courtyard is a great way to start the day

Hotel is near a noisy street

The breakfast area was very nice, and the food was good with a sufficient number of choices. The room was somewhat disappointing: very small, with almost no space to put our stuff, and the closet door was very hard to open and close. However, the bathroom was of a nice size and very clean. The best thing about this hotel is its location: we could easily walk to the center, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner.

Location was excellent allowing easy access to the places of interest. Room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Bar prices were unfortunately on the steep side.

The rooms are on the smaller side and nothing particularly special, but the hotel is beautiful and breakfast was good (arrive early). We stayed on New Year’s Eve, and the rooftop setting was beautiful. The staff offered a drink for a celebratory toast, making the evening feel extra special. Excellent location, within walking distance of everything worth seeing.

EverythingWe stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The service was great, the room was beautiful and very clean, and the bathroom amenities were excellent. The towels were warm and thick. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with pleasant quiet music and always available tables. Highly recommended!

It would be nice if the room doors had better sound insulation, but it did not significantly affect our stay

Perfect location, 2 minutes walk from Trastavera, 5 minutes from campo de fiori and also very close to piazza navona and pantheon.Large and very clean rooms, rich and delicious breakfast. And last - very nice and helpful staff.We will definitely come back when we’ll be in Rome again.

The hotel staff was very accommodating and the location was in the middle of everything.

The bed was a rock the toilet didn’t want to flush properly.

Nice presentation at breakfast with a delicious array of fresh fruits, pastries, juices, charcuterie, and hot coffee or tea.

Staff was very good

We were charged city tax, even though this was not clearly informed in advance on Booking. Moreover, we had already paid this tax once during the Booking reservation, but were asked to pay it again at the hotel.The hotel location and access were not convenient, and reaching the hotel was somewhat difficult.The breakfast was not acceptable and did not meet expectations.Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Location, room, breakfast, terrace

The location must be the one and only best location in ROMA! Situated in the beating heart of the Mura Aureliane, exactly on the Ponte Sisto (The bridge), IT’s 200 meters range from the best restaurants and pastry shops of Trastevere and 300 meters from Campo di Fiori and the best caffe’s around Navona and The Pantheon.Real classy and high standards hotel. Very clean rooms, which are quite big for ROMA. Great professional service and great breakfast. The bar looks amazing.The shower pressure and temperature is the best and the beds are so comfortable.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights over Christmas and we loved the hotel. The location was absolutely perfect and the staff were so nice. The room was cozy with a large and nice bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the cleaning was great. The breakfast was small but very fresh, quiet and cozy with nice staff. Would definitely stay here again :)

Exceptional location. Exceptional breakfast. Exceptionally professional, kind and helpful staff. Exceptional layout, equipment and furnishings of public areas. Room's exceptional view over garden.

Bathroom badly in need of renovation (leaky, creaky sliding shower screen, no hand grip for climbing in/out of tub, unregulatable, over-hot towel radiator). We shall ask for a room with a walk-in shower next time.Inadequate room-temperature thermostatic control, which meant turning off the heating at night.
