It was very central. Very friendly staff. Steffi is amazing.

It was a little outdated.

Poor Internet was disappointing..also heating was not working..i asked the staff , but nothing was done...

Good location. Place next door does a good breakfast.

I wish I’d read reviews before booking - breakfast was way too late at 0930 but there was no refund for it….the room was so hot and airless we would have asked for a fan but the place is unmanned. Under the bed hadn’t seen a vacuum for a long time. They advertised parking but it was down the road in a public square and although it said it had a restaurant it closed in the evening! It’s a nice old building but alas no- one loves it, my bedside table was missing and the guest space outside was used for storing blue plastic crates….I think that it falls below a standard just about everywhere I’ve stayed does- it could be so much better. A shame.

Nice city and the hotel was very central.

There was no staff after 18:00. We needed to ring a bell to get in. Breakfast started late, 9:30. We needed to leave before breakfast started. Again, no staff.

A little mix up with the room, but all ok.

The location is fantastic. It’s a budget hotel at a budget price so good value. It’s essentially a cafe with some rooms upstairs. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable.

My room windows opened on to a courtyard where people went to smoke so not great at 11pm when you want to get to sleep and you hate the smell of smoke. There is nobody around between 1900 and 0800. Breakfast in the cafe was good but it doesn’t open until late so no good if you have an early start.

Nothing! Stairs to 3rd floor someone smoking and room was 90 degrees!!! No fans and requested fans but none offered. Did not stay and will be disputing charges with card company. Your agent was also unhelpful and I will never use your app again!

Hot dirty dump

The room was really good and spacious.

We arrived on Sunday and no one was there to open for us. We tried calling and no one answered. We only managed to get inside because another guest was leaving and opened the door.

Perfect place in city centre.

Without air-condition it was almost unbearable - ventilation to closed veranda had no effect. In hot weather never again.Too late breakfest - starting at 9:30.

The staff are cheerful and helpful. We asked in advance for a fan in this hot summer and it was in the room.

Noisy in summer on the main street as we had to keep the windows open. Very early sun rise so incredibly bright.

Spaciousness, clean, in close proximity to the site we were vositing and the added amenities in the hotel.

Would be nice to have a microwave oven.

My room was super - small double for single use. My travel mate wasn't so happy with her single room. Buffet breakfast would be better as not so much waste. Staff super friendly when extras requested.

The drain in the bathroom was very smelly at times. There was a smokers terrace below our rooms, I found the rising smoke , especially at 7 am, not at all desirable.

Comfortable. Easy breakfast.

Location was amazing, in the heart of Bamberg

Booking.com did not accurately portray the apartment and the room facilities. The Hotel was left to manage our request, and did a good job accommodating as best as possible. Booking.com should do a better job of outlining what is actually available.

Charming character building.

Room got quite warm - but it was surprisingly spacious.

to much noice from the street , windows can’t be kept open in the nights , and the room is fare to warm , the temperature can’t come below 30 deg C in the night
