This 3-star hotel is located in a quiet side street in Berlin’s Schöneberg district, a 2-minute walk from the lively Nollendorfplatz Square. Hotel Sachsenhof offers a 24-hour reception and free Wi-Fi. Hotel Sachsenhof is a traditional Berlin residential building. The spacious rooms are simply furnished and feature cable TV, a cozy seating area and a modern bathroom. Nollendorfplatz Underground Station is a 2-minute walk from Hotel Sachsenhof, offering great transport links to Berlin’s main tourist attractions on 4 different underground lines. Pros +
- Decent coffee, vast breakfast buffet (very limited vegan options, though, as a warning; they exist, but they aren't stellar), good daily housekeeping and an excellent shower. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Proximity to Nollendorfplatz Station is good
Cons -
- The walls are VERY thin. More than once, I was woken up by the sound of couples being, shall I say, amorously enthusiastic. It's not the fault of the hotel, but it is definitely something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper! Fridge would be nice.
