Residence Inn by Marriott Columbus Easton

Everyone at the desk was very nice and greeted you when you entered the main building. Breakfast was nice and different options each day. Staff was always cleaning up and refilling as needed during the breakfast service. The room was perfectly clean including the full kitchen. Great location with tons of food and shopping in walking distance. Free parking close to your room.

There was only a plug for a phone charger on one side of the bed.

Showers had terrible water pressure, picture shown for the room we booked indicated that the kitchen included an oven but there was not one in the room they gave us, ants found in one of our bedrooms

The hotel is in front of Easton stores and it so easy to go shopping and go eat nearby. The hotel is in this cute place, has a nice parking lot and the room was amazing. Cozy bed, a good wardrobe, and a nice kitchen. The breakfast has some good options for food and beverages. The pool was closed, but it was snowing so that's okay.

A minor issue with a door that holds the airconditioner was creaking everything the air was on, kinda annoying but okay.

I did not go to breakfast. I normally stay at the Marriott Courtyard but wanted to try the Residence Inn. The location was very good and easy to access. I prepaid for my stay through my booking company and the check in was easy. I liked the layout of the room and the many amenities of the room.

My only complaint is I prepaid for my stay but was asked for a credit card with my identification upon arrival A normal procedure. However, the front desk guest services person did not notice my prepayment of the two day stay and charged my credit card. I noticed the error on my credit card the following morning and reported it to the front desk. The front desk guest services person was extremely helpful and noted the error and confirmed . She indicated the fees would be refunded. However, it took a call back to the hotel as well as a call to Marriott Reservations. I was then told it could take up to 5-7 days to have the transaction reversed. It was an honest mistake but was an inconvenience as the funds were tied up while waiting on reimbursement.

Room was not ready for more than one guest. Not enough towels, no linens for pull out couch. Had coffee, but no coffee machine. The front office did supply us with requested items, however coffee make didn’t work right. Lid was missing and therefore didn’t run correctly…it is a pause and pour maker and without the lid the coffee did not flow correctly. There we no coffee mugs, no bath mat for tub. We did not know the room would not be cleaned daily.

Another choice other than eggs for a hot breakfast , maybe some home fries would have been nice. I put the tv on Utube channel but then I couldn’t get it off or even turn the tv off.
