Hotel Schloss Schweinsburg

As I understand they have rooms in the main building (which is in the photo) and in the guesthouse which are lets say less refined. Overall nice and quiet location.

Better not to pay for hotel during online pre-checkout, but in hotel. I payed online during pre-checkout and had to explain to two staff members that I had already payed for my room. Pay in hotel to avoid hussle.

Unique place. Away from busy streets, convenient if it's on your route.

Room wasn't ready on arrival. Room is old and the shades are non-functional, letting in a lot of sun in the early morning. Room was cold and it took some time until warm. The balcony was dirty. No coffee or tea in the room. The internet was very slow and non-functional at times. The hotel needs a serious reality check for what they offer.

The most amazing castle & territory, very green, quiet, the traditional-style restaurant facility. Ladies at the reception were very nice and helpful.

It was a good location for staying over for a local event, and the price was fair.

The WiFi that is listed in their facilities was practically non-existent. We were never able to connect to a WiFi network. The staff were not very friendly but it was okay, we didn’t need much. No aircon but we didn’t expect it as they don’t claim to have it. Our room was very very warm.

The breakfast is amazing, the territory is big and nice

The glass door to the toilet is quite awkward when you travel with family

Nice location, breakfast was good.

Dinner was a rather limited buffet only and we would have preferred à la carte but at the end it was OK and not expensive.

Great hotel, beautiful place. In the morning possible to get breakfasts. In the restaurant we could get hot water for free. Big parking space (free). Quite big and comfortable room. Possible to check in at night.

Bathroom was little bit old. In check in employee didn't speak english.

Nice old castle with nice garden

The kitchen is closed at 21:00. Coming late you are at risk to have no food around. Only kebab house in some 5 km (closing at 10pm)

Lovely period castle. Quiet setting. Good value for money. Staff very helpful. Food good too.

We stayed during a period of hot weather. Sleeping at night was very uncomfortable due to the heat even with the windows open. The passage way in front of the bedrooms was like a glass covered corridor thus enhancing the heat in the rooms.

24/7 reception! We arrived at 1a.m.

Glass door for bathroom it's matte, but all sounds are too audible.

Rooms are decent size, beds comfortable. Very clean. Excellent shower. Restaurant on site - possibility to eat right there. We stayed during very rainy and stormy night, but everything worked properly. Rich and tasty breakfast.Historical building nicely adjusted to modern standards and needs.

Bathroom was modern, all clean, breakfast yummy and lots of choices.on the roof patioor inside.The sauna was kind of convoluted to get to but clean and relaxing. even slippers and robes wee provided. Dinner was great as the chef even came to help us with English translation.Beautiful old house.with lovely solarium..

The view from our window was a hill 4 ft. away. The landscaping around the lake could uses some gardening spruce up..Checking out we found the worker talking in the bar.

Our room was in a side building and upstairs. The castle is beautiful with well kept grounds which we enjoyed for an after breakfast stroll. There are facilities for events and conferences. The restaurant doubles for dinner and breakfast - both were top notch. We did not want to leave this hotel!!! Parking was included on the grounds.

The side building is a newer building so it would have been nice if they thought about an elevator.

Room was clean, area of the Hotel is nice. Breakfast is fine. Stuff is very polite.

Furniture is quite old. I would say, that Hotel has rather 3 then 4 Stars. But for one night it's ok.
