Econo Lodge Calgary Motel Village

The price point for this hotel is excellent and the service was exceptional. Every staff member I interacted with was wonderful and did their best to help me. Good deals with local businesses as well. Free breakfast was nice!

The parking is exceptionally tight and getting in/out of the area can be difficult. It is hard to blame the facility for this, though. The rooms are a bit dated for sure but there were no safety concerns that I had.

Small breakfast area. Crowded. Did not have breakfast.

Good location, staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was basic but still very tasty.

It was clean but could use some (very basic) repairs and upgrades in the room.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing. There were a variety of choices. You can make yourself a pancake too. Freshly made!

No. There was nothing negative about this hotel stay experience.

Unfortunately the room was not up to expectations. Mold was in the bathroom. All the drawers were never cleaned. Lots of debris in them. The air conditioner had never been cleaned. We cleaned it and it was terrible. I have terminal stage 4 lung cancer.

the room had sticky floors the towels were yellow - never seen that before the bed sheet were stained the monthly tenants on the 2nd floor were up all night moving furniture around the room while wearing clogs or maybe they were just on drugs.....

We always stay here because it clean and a friendly place to stay. It¿s location is a easy five minute walk to the football stadium. Staff always polite and friendly.

Just a concern, I had a free breakfast which was the hotel is offering, I had a boiled egg, felt that it was so cold. Not sure what happened there.

The location was excellent. The bed was comfortable, it was spacious enough. We appreciated the breakfast.

Dust on the bathroom registers The room was cold on the 3rd night and there was no thermostat in the room to control the temperature ourselves to our comfort level. No extra bedding in our room to add a blanket.

Room were dirty with plenty of bugs. Bathroom was dirty too and obviously not cleaned when we checked-in.

The hotel smelled of mouldy carpet. Towels were stained. The bathtub smelled of Pee. Yes the bath tub not the toilet

Very dirty, awful smell, room was not clean and would not recommend to anyone. Could not stop itching and did not sleep all night. Checked out early..

Unsafe, uninhabitable rooms. Unclean, dog hair everywhere, foul chemical smell. No ventilation. Dark and dank. Horrible front desk staff. Confrontative, dismissive, stalling, cunning.

The only good thing was that it's pet friendly.

Room was dirty, walls are thin, no heat control, location was a nightmare to reach, tv didn't work. Overall one of the worst hotels Ive stayed at. I'll never stay here again. Other guests were EXTREMELY disruptive until 7am and staff couldn't do anything.

They did give me a room I pay for. They are looking to make more money to sell me same room . They did not accommodate us. He said cancel the online booking and I can give you room for extra $10 more dollar.

When we checked out and finally got off the property.

They took advantage of the pandemic and charged us for towels we didn’t destroy and had an additional fee upon check out. In total they charged us an additional $130 just to leave. Please contact me via email, 255 characters isn’t enough to explain.

Close location to the Foothills Hospital

tried to get three different staff members to look after some cleaning issues with the room, but they failed to comply with the requests.

Amazing price for a clean, contemporary and very comfortable room. The bed was very comfortable and the room had been renovated and updated. Very quiet - heating is central so no annoying fans. Pleasant staff as well.

Continental breakfast was basic but, really, for the price I have absolutely no complaints and will stay there again.
