This modern, 4-star hotel is located directly on the shore of Lake Griebnitzsee in Potsdam's Babelsberg district. It offers quiet and spacious rooms with free WiFi as well as excellent public transport connections into Potsdam and Berlin. Rooms at Seminaris Hotel Potsdam Griebnitzsee are brightly furnished and include a desk, safe, mini-bar and private bathroom. Lake views can be enjoyed from some rooms, as well as from the restaurant. The restaurant offers a varied breakfast in the morning, and seasonal German and international dishes for lunch and dinner. In the evening, stop by the Movie Bar and enjoy a quiet drink. Look out for the pictures of German actress, Asta Nielson - a reminder of the Babelsberg film studios and Potsdam Film Museum nearby. Just 328 feet from the hotel, you will find the S-Bahn (city rail) station. This is 8 minutes from Potsdam Main Station and 40 minutes from Alexanderplatz Station in central Berlin. For an extra fee, underground parking is available on request at the hotel.

Pros +
- The location is fabulous- views over the lake from the dining room are beautiful. The breakfast buffet is extensive and is regularly restocked. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful.
Cons -
- Initially we were sad that we were staying in a different building (still part of the hotel) across the road. However we were then told that there is a tunnel below the road connecting the building with the main hotel. That was good (plus there is a table tennis table in the tunnel). One thing of note was that there were no drinks or snacks in the fridge which I would expect from a four star hotel. Normally you would have at least sone water in the room. Not a huge issue to be fair but notable.
