- Historic old hotel that is well cared for. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. The staff is "Texas friendly."
- The room was clean and large.
- The king sized bed and pillows!!
Cons -
- The hotel was difficult to find at night. There was no signage we could see, and our GPS took us about a block away.
- I asked to check out later than 11am and was told I would be charged another night. We stopped our hike and checked out on time at 11AM

This old hotel is quant but it offers all the amenities. Floors are not level and every room is different giving it a real charm missing in corporate chain hotels. Great gathering room downstairs with a wonderful fireplace.
