McMenamins Crystal Hotel

This hotel has a whole history behind it. It is unique and was a comfortable stay. The pool was also unique and refreshing after a long day of driving. The staff was knowledgeable and super friendly. He helped us wonderfully.

Be prepared if you stay at this hotel about the bathrooms. We read about it up front but some people may not find it as fun as what we did. I would not necessarily say that it is a deal breaker at all.

I stay 1x a month to soak in the pool. I usually try to find a concert at the crystal ballroom, Dante's or the Roseland.

The rooms are a tad small..... But I'm searching for something to give you an answer

It was a good price.

Coffee only served from 5am to 7am. Floors slanted, sink was stopped up,bed was hard, the bathrooms were not in the room, the street noise kept waking me up.

Location! Hubs is w/a majour beer company, we were there for the beer. And the soaking pool! Perfect to start your day, even better to finish with.

so close to the venue where our show was and the themed rooms were very cool and unique

lil spendy for such a small room with no TV ,did not really like the shared bathrooms even though they were clean, and parking 2 blocks away cost another $18, maybe next time get a king size room with own bathroom

Art and whimsy. The food and drinks were okay too. The location is great.

It's really loud - thin walls, poorly insulated windows, and busy downtown streets led to pretty bad nights of sleep. The mattress was also not comfortable.

Every nook and cranny if full of detail and character. The art is interesting, colorful, and eye catching.

Nope. Completely satisfied with everything. I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday and he was thrilled.

I love the quirkiness of all the Mcmennamin's hotels. This one was no exception. We got the only queen room with a balcony, and that was really great. I would definitely go back to this Hotel. Great location to everything Portland has to offer.

The whole hotel is really cool. We loved the decor and the atmosphere. Room could get really cold. Great view.

At first I was worried about shared bath but actually I enjoyed it that much more as it was cleaner than an in room bathroom. It was an awesome stay!

The vibe in 2024 was vibrant. Even more than in 2012 when I stayed at The Crystal.

Besides the great staff, the decor of the facility was great, loved it completely!
