Gasthof Schneiderwirt, Kipfenberg OT Hirnstetten

Pros +

• Gasthof is located close to A9 motorway, 1 to 1,5 hour from Munich. I was there to visit IFAT exhibition. I arrived 1,5 hours after check-in time. The owner waited for me with the keys. Any problems. Typical tasty German breakfast, fresch products and milk was so good that I was drinking almost one litre every morning. I suspect that it was from local farmer. I stopped for two nights. 188 euro compering to 1000 euro in Munich during Messe, nothing to discuss. Even if the owners don't speak English, always Google translator can help. The room was big, clean and comfortable. Next time if I travel nearby for sure I will stop here. Thanks to the owners for great hospitality.
• All in all we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was well above average. I would like to especially mention the extreme friendliness and hospitality of the staff - all of them. This is rarely to be seen!
• The hotel was very charming, in a quiet village ideal for exploring the nearby forests and fields. The food was also great and the room was neat, clean, and spacious. But what won me over the most, was the extremely hospitable and well-mannered family that runs the place. They were very kind and extremely helpful, providing me (I was the only guest at the time) with the hospitality and care usually reserved for friends and family.

Cons -

• Just one small note: the specification of the room on booking.com should be updated. A number of facilities (refrigerator, teapot, coffee maker, etc.) are listed as available in the room while in fact they are only available in the common area.
• No complaints whatosoever.
