Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile

Great Hotel. Large room, good bar, kind staff. The location is perfect!!! The bed is very confortable. It will be i=one of my prefered hotels in Chicago, specially in the winter.

It was a perfect location, beautiful hotel. Love the Starbucks downstairs. Definitely worth the money.

When we were in the pool later in the evening, there was a man who came in and out and was making us very uncomfortable. He then started talking to us and following us around the pool and then into the hallways. He was the only man and we were the only women. In the few hours in the pool, I never once saw a staff member who I could ask for help. The lack of staff around made it feel unsafe and we became scared as women on our own. Not that a creepy man is a hotels fault per se, but we couldn’t tell anyone near us. When I went to the desk to try and say something, the desk lady had been rude to the customer in front of me, so I felt that it wouldn’t have been taken seriously, and therefore did not say anything. Where the pool and the gym is situated, anyone who runs on the treadmills is staring right into the pool room. I guess due to where the pool and the gym are located, I would’ve liked to see more staff at least checking on the area. It also would’ve been nice if the front desk people were friendly so that I could feel comfortable telling them about what had happened.

Great location, clean and modern.

Toilets sound like jet engines when flushed. You could hear everything through the walls. We even smelled perfume coming into our room from adjoining room. Had to get a box fan just to sleep. Lighting was horrible couldn’t even see to put on makeup. Would not stay here again.

Nice, comfortable hotel, the welcome was underwhelming but this was due to the works going on to the new reception area.

Awesome staff! Very friendly and polite! They were also willing to help us with anything we needed. They gave us complimentary waters, a $15 voucher to use at their indoor restaurant, and housekeeping was nice and professional. The room was stunning and very clean. We got one of their newly renovated rooms and it was way better than what we initially expected. The bathroom had a huge mirror with lighting, it was great for getting ready and doing our makeup and hair. The hotel was in a good location, a lot of our activities could be reached just by simply walking. If we were unable to walk to a destination, then we took uber and the prices for the uber were reasonable. Valet and bellhop were also friendly and polite! They did good a job with helping us with our luggage and car. You are able to come and go as many times as you’d like with your car, and there is not an extra fee for leaving and reparking with the valet. The Amenities were great as well. They had a fitness center, pool, and area for laundry. The lobby was nice, aesthetically pleasing and clean. Lastly, it was just an overall great experience! This hotel exceeded my expectations, the pictures on booking.com really do not do this hotel any justice!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfortable!

Room was large and comfortable, bed was perfect, location was superb.

We had to deal during the whole stay with very impatient employees at the reception desk. She interrupted us all the time when we tried to explain something, was rude several times and demonstrated very little intention to help accommodate any demands. On top of that, the hotel's system was off during the first 2 days, so we were without wifi and unable to access rooms regularly. Definitely below expectations when you stay at a Hyatt hotel.
