- Hotel La Omaja might just be our favourite hotel we've stayed at travelling central America! Our host Ricardo was an absolute gem, always on hand and super attentive. The infinity pool & view for sunset was better than anything you could find at a commercial spot like Playa Mangos. We enjoyed the place more or less to ourselves during our stay, breakfast was included, wifi was great, rooms were air conditioned, clean & with hot showers. We had a few drinks as the sun set behind the volcano in the pool & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My girlfriend wanted a Cuba Libre at one point & bless Ricardo, we watched as he went off on his motorbike to grab us some fresh supplies! He made an excellent drink. Wonderful experience, I'll provide some pictures to show our stay :)
Cons -
- The place was fab! I suppose the only critique is that to access the place, you have to drive up about 1 minute of dodgy terrain (which seems commonplace on the island most places we went).
