Acadia Pines Motel

Pros +

• You could tell it was a clean place, it is obviously an older place which gave it a homey feel. It had a small kitchenette with table and chairs. They had all basic dishes utensils pots and pans need for a small meal. The bathroom was a decent size with a hairdryer in a drawer. The bed was comfortable not too firm and not too soft!
• Really enjoyed the location! Extremely easy access into Acadia National Park-our destination- without droving thru Bar Harbor. Staff very friendly!
• check in went well and the housekeeper was pleasant.

Cons -

• Leak in bathroom looked like dark pee coming from under sink. Stepped in it and cleaned it up multiple times.
• Didn’t know how to reach staff for checkout so left key in office. Did find them before leaving in laundry room. Busy. Had trouble regulating temperature in room
• the bathroom had pubic hair in the bathtub ,shower curtain was wrinkled ,towel rack holder was off the wall ,paint chipping off of bathroom sink tiles.
