Parkhotel Hugo de Vries is located in a villa from 1904, built in Jugendstil style, in the green village of Lunteren. Sit in the lovely garden when weather is nice. Free Wi-Fi is available. This property has also a restaurant. The tastefully decorated guest rooms are all located on the ground floor and have a private bathroom. Each morning a breakfast buffet is served in the former living room of Hugo de Vries, a famous botanist. Parkhotel Hugo de Vries is located at the south side of the Veluwe area. This area offers great opportunities for hiking and cycling. National Park De Hoge Veluwe is also worth a visit. You can reach the hotel via the motorways A12, A1 and A30 as well as public transport. Lunteren's train station is 1640 feet away.

Pros +
- The historical part of the building is impressive and the reception was very pleasant and effective. Great location next to the forest and in walking distance to the town center with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Reasonably priced.
- Loved the vibe and the cleanliness.
Cons -
- Rooms in the added wing in next to the parking were very basic and definitely the time when they were pleasant passed years ago. Both carpet and a mattress (sic!) had stains. Bathroom was acceptable for a quick shower but don't expect it being a place you want to relax in.
- No reception available when I needed it - but it was no bother waiting.
