Bastion Hotel Almere

The hotel was very dirty My room was not serviced in spite of multiple daily requests Staff was friendly but useless The restaurant was dirty very slow service with no activity to justify it Very dissatisfied

Lovely, helpful and friendly staff; rooms nice and clean with comfortable beds; generally quiet; excellent breakfast.

Moderately difficult to get to using public transport. At 11pm there were no taxis at train station unless we were prepared to wait an hour. Had to take a bus followed by a 10 minute walk, which was very difficult as one of our party had mobility issues.

Courteous service

The room was very spacious and convenient in the 5th floor with a calm view. For a short stay it is perfect since it has everything someones needs. Check in and out proccess is very quick and I enjoyed staying there.

A good place to spend a night. The room is super spacious and comfy. You won't find bigger rooms in Almere than this. Modern styling. Really well done.

Location is okay, something you can prepare for. Arriving in the evening is a bit weird, a weird vibe at check-in. Not sure if it was just this one time or whether the evening check-in is always like this.

Quietness and clean

Service is very limited. It was not possible to get Ice in the room during the day.

The made to order eggs at breakfast were lovely as was the kind gentleman making them. Overall the hotel provided all the basics.

All I needed was a reasonably priced place to sleep before an early flight, and that requirement was met. The hotel Is solidly built from thick concrete. The room was quiet. The amenities were strictly budget. The room card had to be inserted in a slot by the door for electricity to be fully provided (!). The toilet paper roll was almost depleted, but there was another roll. Breakfast not included. The staff was terse. This is a clean decent place to sleep, no more.

Good facilities for a short stay. Easy parking. Nice employee who we met the first night.

Some pillows are not in shape anymore. Better chance new ones.

The room was clean and well maintained, the bed was comfortable. The was an English breakfast option. The weekday evening menu was good as was the food.

Comfortable beds, large room, proper ambiental lights, tv with connectivity for casting, fresh towels everyday without request, friendly staff, proper free parking available with chargers for electric cars. Reaching Central Amsterdam is easy via public transport. Close to major infrastructure so getting to and from the hotel is fast. Would stay there again.

I love the location of the hotel but somewhat far from the main train station but by bus is ok .

The room service is poor and the first night I spent there it was not actually clean and the next morning no room service was provided. And I went to the reception the next and explain the issue but I was not pleased that the room service was really poor . And my groceries, some food items and kept them in the bag was all taken away by the cleaner the next day during the room service without my consent and I was expecting to have that for breakfast, and I got to buy another breakfast for myself!

The staff's attention and the convenience of arriving at any time and being attended to, the large and comfortable beds and the well-designed bathroom. An adequate space.

The pillows and that it were given rooms on different floors despite having both rooms in the same reservation, which was made more difficult by the fact that you can only access each floor from your room and not the other.

its in the middle of nowhere. If you come back to the hotel hangry nothing to eat.
