The Bastion Hotel Almere is located near the motorway A6 and is ideal for a visit to the center of Almere. Amsterdam is approximately 15 minutes drive away. Bastion Hotel Almere offers a 24-hour front office, comfortable rooms and an extensive choice of dishes from the à la carte menu in the atmospheric restaurant. - The hotel was very dirty My room was not serviced in spite of multiple daily requests Staff was friendly but useless The restaurant was dirty very slow service with no activity to justify it Very dissatisfied
- Lovely, helpful and friendly staff; rooms nice and clean with comfortable beds; generally quiet; excellent breakfast.
Cons -
- Moderately difficult to get to using public transport. At 11pm there were no taxis at train station unless we were prepared to wait an hour. Had to take a bus followed by a 10 minute walk, which was very difficult as one of our party had mobility issues.
