The location is perfect, in...

The hotel is old, very old, the facilities are not up to date anymore25 euro for my dog, it is absurd.

Most beautiful surroundings. A walk in the quiet forest right when you step out the door. Affordable rate. Staff is very kind and helpful.

It would be nice to at least be able to make tea and coffee in the room. Room was old and deteriorated. Scent of smoke in the corridor was rather unpleasant; how, anno 2025?

The romantic location

Very pleasant location away from the city. The Front of House was very well presented and clean with friendly staff.

Unfortunately, the room had a strong, musky 'old people' smell even though it had just been apparently redecorated. No other rooms were available and nothing was done to alleviate the smell so this was disappointing. I think management need to investigate how they are rennovating their rooms since there will only be more complaints.I found the hotel restaurant menu uninspired and expensive, so I'm, frankly, glad I went to a nearby alternative instead.

This is a vintage hotel in the middle of nature. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. We have stayed one night with 11 friends in total and we had a good time. The environment is ideal for walking and cycling.

I don't understand why this is called a four star hotel. It's old fashioned and outdated. Charming but not very comfortable. Our 'DeLuxe' room didn't have a kettle or a minibar. It had single glazing, the radiator produced clicking sounds and the walls weren't soundproof. The smell of sigarettes in the entrance and stairwell. A thorough renovation could make this hotel a real jewel in the woods.

- The price of a double room is the same (and high), regardless of whether one or two people are staying.- The hotel is not 4 stars (maybe it was when it was inaugurated). Now it is quite outdated. The old wooden floor creaks, even though it is covered with carpet. This gives the impression of an old mountain cabin. The walls are not soundproof, you can still hear everything from the hallway and from the adjacent rooms.- Although I stayed in February, the room was not heated until my arrival at 9 pm. Worse, the balcony door was open, for ventilation! It was only a few degrees outside. The room only warmed up towards morning. The bathroom was so cold that when I took a hot bath (to warm myself up) the water condensed on the walls and started to flow. The lack of ventilation in the bathroom kept the humidity until morning, it also entered the room and increased the feeling of cold.I had the feeling that I was staying in a cave.

The place is quite picturesque and you can see that it has quite a bit of history. I really liked the aesthetic because it made it more cosy. Staff are very kind and welcoming, and the location is really beautiful.

The breakfast didn't provide many choices and the coffee machine was very old which made the coffee not very tasteful. The room furniture and infrastructure is quite old. I had some issues with the toilet pipes making noise during the night and there isn't very good isolation.

One needs own transportation or a taxi to get to the place.
