    Pros +

    • We arrived late in the evening under heavy rain, so our first impression was shaped by the weather more than anything else. The room itself was fine—slightly dark, but spacious and comfortable. It consisted of two interconnected areas, a living room and a bedroom, which made the stay feel less like a hotel night and more like a small apartment. Overall, the accommodation left a good impression.Breakfast the next morning was excellent, and the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming. What truly stood out, however, was the surrounding area. The neighborhood is a picture‑perfect slice of Dutch charm: private houses framed by quiet water canals, elegant architecture, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels almost unreal. Despite the rainy arrival, the beauty of the place more than made up for it.

    • Great location! Safe and comfortable. Excellent breakfast

    Cons -

    • 1 staff was very rude to me at the time for breakfast.
    • Odd lay out of rooms. Quirky but clean
    • Nothing to mention, excellent value for money.

We liked everything! The welcome, the room, the style, the breakfast, the location all suited us as cyclists very well:)

Excellent breakfast. Doesn't change from day to day, but is varied enough to allow you to choose your own options.

Nothing to mention, excellent value for money.

The room was very spacious, which was a great treat after two weeks of living in cramped hotel rooms. Located in a rural village, it is close to Roterdam and reasonably close to Kinderdijk.

The design of the facility is maze like.

    Big room, clean, good location.

No air conditioning, very stuffy room.

    4ShaunPosted on: 6-30-2025

    It had a pool

Rooms where tatty dated no aircon very hot in room. Bedroom has a large widow facing the corridor. Yes you have a curtain but anyone can see in to your bed. when they walk down the corridor. The balcony seemed dangerous all the wood on it was rotten.

Hotel is located in a small charmingly beautiful village near the nice recreational area. Hotel is very clean, however premises are in a necessary need for a refurbishment. Breakfast has got a super minimalistic selection, and even of that is a shortage in a servery. Been given an instruction that breakfasts starts at 8 a.m. on weekends, have asked for the possibility to get it from 7 a.m., but been refused, however the next morning have seen the group having it just at 7.00…

The front desk employees were very nice and welcoming. There is free parking. The room was spacious and comfortable. We ate dinner and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was very good with a lot of choices like coffee, juices, breads, pancakes, eggs, and fruits. The check-in and check-out process was fast and easy. They even have a beautiful play area for kids which our daughter loved.

Stayed a few days with a group due to attending a sports competition, most of the staff were superb, always smiling and attending to our needs, but there were a couple who looked like they didn't want to be there, facilities were great, location was ideal for us as there were kids in our group so not too busy and bus stop right outside for going sightseeing, would definitely recommendEditRooms would be better with Aircon

Lovely atmosphere. Big size family room with separate area for 3rd bed though no door between the two spaces. (No issue for us). Very nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Dinner was tasty. It was nice to have games available to play in the lounge. There was nothing going on in the village so it was nice to just stay in with some drinks and play games in the evening.

They started renovating the kitchen and you can imagine the noise at breakfast. A big sign to apologise right at the entrance would have been appreciated. When I mentioned this (not complaining just pointing it out) I was shown a barely there tiny note on the desk and apparently it’s mentioned on the website. Had not read anything about this on booking.com. It didn’t spoil it for us but it would have if I had this noise for my whole stay and if I was there for longer.

Convenient stay and a very big room for a family room which is rare.

The breakfast information in the room was wrong and the breakfast was finished when we got down. However, nice staff let us still eat. Needs better signage especially for people checking in late.

Breakfast, on site facilities (games room, children's play area), large sized bathroom and bedroom, bed was really big! Plenty of room for all of our baby's things

    6JchengckPosted on: 2-22-2025

    Pleasant

The water drains too slowly from the shower, so I have to turn it off every 5 to 10 seconds to prevent flooding the bathroom. I reported this issue to the staff, and they said they would follow up. However, they frankly informed me that it could not be fixed immediately due to the age of the hotel.

Breakfast was good with a lots of variety and abundance

An English translated menu would be a good idea for the restaurant

    10MohammadPosted on: 2-9-2025

The hotel is very nkce, spacious, very neat & clean, breakfast is very nice.

The price is a little bit more.

    10PalithaPosted on: 2-3-2025

Value for money, lovely place, friendly staff and parking available.

Rooms should have a small fridge.

    Facilities, staff, breakfast

They got us an apartment next to the parking spot on a ground floor. Every car passing by made a lot of noises, and it was not quiet. Don't know about the other rooms

    8VerrinderPosted on: 1-23-2025

We had a good size room a very comfortable bed a very nice size shower and bathroom...

They could have had some more choices for breakfast and we wish they had a heater in the bathroom
